It was morning and I had to wake up and join my cellmates to do our jail labors.

I picked up my bucket and I headed out with Jack, it was our turn to clean the bathrooms today.

"Gosh! What an awful smell…" Jack exclaimed as soon as I kicked the bathroom door open.

He should've gotten used to it by now cause I already do. The smell would never change no matter what we do. Even though this bathroom is cleaned up daily, it would still be as if it hasn't been touched for months when we come.

I didn't want to think that these people do it on purpose, but what do I say? We are almost ten thousand in this jail and we all get the need to use the bathroom sometime.

I stepped into the bathroom, the pungent odor of urine hit directly at my nose and I jerked backwards a bit. Jack noticed and he immediately began to laugh at me.

I frowned and turned to him. "What's funny?" I asked, the tone in my voice made him realize that I am being serious. So he stopped laughing at me.
