TAIKA’S POV

“I missed you” I turn abruptly and wrap my hands around Asher. I sheath my face with his chest. At last, my obsession for good fuck is going to come to past.

“I’m not Asher '' this voice echoes. I promptly shift backwards and break my clinginess with the person. I stare at the face a little tense.

“Warlock?” I drawl in shock. Some flush of anger grips me. “ What are you doing here?” I bash at him in rage.

“I mean I didn’t know you are the one” I rephrase my words and reduce my tone. I shouted at first. I don’t want to pass a different message him. As much as I don’t like him and his stupid mother, they all still do not need to

know that. At least not now.

“I’m sorry. The thing is I came to see Asher, but I guess he is not around” he says and shrugs. Even in the dark, I can still see his shining eyes. I inhale and his scent is right in my lungs. How then did I not know at first that it wasn’t Asher’s scent?
