ASHER’S POV

I tried apologizing to Taika but then she walked away from me very angrily. I stood in the room desolate but then I don’t think I’d blame her. she ought to be angry with me. I don’t even know what made me even pummel a woman. It doesn’t pose well with me right now so I don’t even know how I did it then.

I raise my hand and stare at it after she bolts out. There is something else that has got me worried. That’s her scent. Her scent was very different and awkward. She has never smelled that way but she said it’s the stench from coming out to the restroom. It doesn’t make sense to me but she can’t be lying. Anyways, that’s by the way.

I’d simply let her be now and apologize to her some other time. I advance the door and slam it after I leave.

Just as I step outside, I collide with Kyle. I told him I want to pay to join a visit and Melissa a visit. “I know they are still grieving and I wish I could do this another way, but I need to get information from Melissa,” I say.
