Monday Morning in the Moon Shine Pack.............. Two Years Later

"Thanks, again! Big Sis and Big Bro for a great party and my brand-new car." asserted Miriam, who was still beaming with happiness from having a great birthday celebration and from finally getting to meet her wolf, Cleopatra.

"Well, you don't just turn sixteen every day. Besides, I wanted to get you something nice, comfortable and reliable since you have been doing a great job with your high school classes and then driving yourself to and from the university for your nursing classes. Plus your part-time job at the Pack's Hospital as a unit clerk. You have been doing a terrific job. You never give me or your sister any problems. You are great, and such a joy in our lives. Plus, you're great with our twins, Clark and Lacey." professed Beta Landon, giving his little sister a quick hug. He truly meant every word he just spoke to his sister-in-law. Beta Landon has never regretted agreeing to bring Miriam with them. Besides, his mother truly loves having three girls to fuss over.

"Well, I love my niece and nephew and I appreciate everything the two of you do for me. I mean I really do. I know y'all could have left me in the Night Walker pack." conveyed Miriam.

"Now you know that was never an option for one minute, Applehead. Go to school before you're late. Don't forget no dates with a boy unless I have met and approve of them. Even then, absolutely no sex. You have to wait for your fate mate. Do you understand me, Miriam?" questioned her sister Tamar.

"Yes, yes..... we have gone over it 100 times. See y'all later! Love y'all!" Miriam happily said, kissing the twins' cheeks, her sister's cheek and her sister's mate's cheeks before running out the door.

"She is so sweet and easy-going. Why can't our Alpha's sister Amanda be more like Miriam? What respectful Alpha or Beta male will have her now with two sex tapes floating around? She has no shame! She's acting like this is perfectly normal behavior." expressed Beta Landon, annoyed and frustrated.

"Baby calm down. We may not like it, but that's the latest fad right now. They want to be able to brag about their sexual skills. I'm just glad Miriam prefers being a loner and doesn't have the need or desire to degrade herself just to fit in like Gamma Jeannie. Gamma Jeannie is a follower. I mean our parents would be rolling over in their graves if Miriam did something like this, and I would feel like a complete failure." confessed Tamar.

"Least Jeannie has the decency to be ashamed of herself. What should we do about those girls, Cookie?" asked Beta Landon.

"Send Amanda to the Luna Academy in Capital City for the next three years. It's an all-girl boarding school, so no more risk of scandal. Get Lonnie to work on getting rid of those freak-off videos as well as all the pictures. If she can go to the Luna Academy, an excel to showcase herself as a true prize, not a burden for an Alpha or Beta. She might have a better chance at a good future. Then, if we can send Gamma Jeannie to the Hawthorne Prep School for girls with the same goal in mind. That's the best advice I can offer. I know they don't want the girls to leave, but staying here is not helping them. They keep getting into more and more trouble." suggested Beta Tamar.

"You're right. You're right as always; a great idea. I will make some calls and speak with everyone regarding the matter. Have a good day at home with the kids. I love you. I'll mindlink you if I need anything or if I plan to leave the packland for anything. I love you, our kids and our life, together. I love you, cookie." confessed Beta Landon.

"No, I love you more cookie monster. Have a great day too." proclaimed Beta Tamar, beaming at herself with love.

Four hours later................................at a Café across the street from University.

"I need a Raspberry bubble tea drink, please." requested Miriam.

"Can I have a Mango and Lychee bubble tea? How much for both, please?" asked Kandi.

"That will be $11.50, please." replied the friendly cashier.

"No problem! Thanks! Here you go for both." remarked Kandi.

"Thanks! Enjoy the rest of your day." responded the cashier.

"Thanks!" answered Miriam.

" Thanks!" communicated Kandi.

"When is your next class, Miriam?" Kandi asked excitedly.

"At 1 o'clock, so I have time to sit here with you and catch up." sassed Miriam, knowing her friend wanted to talk about her new Boo.

"Good, I have to tell you about my date last night. After we left your party, things got a little heated on the way back." revealed Kandi.

"You didn't sleep with him, did you?" asked Miriam.

"No, but I gave him a Bj!" responded Kandi, laughing.

"I can't believe you! What about your mate?" questioned Miriam, looking totally shocked at her friend's behavior.

"I'm still saving him my virginity, but I can have some fun. In the meantime, it's not a big deal." confessed Kandi, laughing at her sweet, innocent new friend.

"Girl! I can't believe you!" Miriam stated, shaking her head.

"Look, Walker is hot. So don't judge me! Speaking of Walker, you know he is on the ice hockey team. Their first game is tomorrow night. I want you to come with me. He gave me four tickets: one for you, one for me, my roommate Ruth and her boyfriend, Gavin. Can you ask your sister for permission to come please, please, please?" requested Kandi.

"I'll text my sister now and ask her OK." replied Miriam as she sent her sister a quick text asking for permission.

"Great. She is so cool. She always says YES!." declared an excited Kandi.

"By the way, Dean, Walker, Ross and Brent are on their way here. Just say hello to them. Don't run off so quickly, please. I know you don't like crowds. My shy young friend." pleaded Kandi.

"Girl, you know I don't like crowds. They always have fanfare nothing, but a bunch of crazy human girls dying to get their attention. Look I promise to stay long enough to thank Walker for coming to my party and for his very thoughtful gift. OK?" conveyed Miriam.

"Fine! Beggars can't be choosy!" replied Kandi, pouting just as the four guys walked into the café along with about 25 human girls drooling all over them.

The guys headed straight over to their table and grabbed a chair and pulled it up. Then, Miriam received a text back from her sister stating she could go to the game tomorrow night as they all greeted each other.

"Walker! Thanks, again for the wonderful gift and for coming to my birthday party last night. Plus, thanks for the ticket tomorrow night to the game. I've never been to an ice hockey game. I'm looking forward to it." announced Miriam with a smirk.

"Your sister texted back already? You can come?" questioned a shocked Kandi.

"Yes!" replied Miriam.

"Great! That is wonderful!" expressed Kandi, standing up and doing a quick happy dance.

"You welcome, short stuff. The party was small but nice. I enjoyed myself and I know my Kandi did too." Walker responded as he winked at Kandi, causing her to blush.

"So do you feel any different now?" asked Dean.

"Yes, to be honest! I can't seem to stop talking to Cleopatra, now, She is so cool and funny." revealed Miriam.

"Ain't that sweet, sweet! Little Lady is officially sweet sixteen." countered Ross, smiling at her and Brent with a big Kool-aid grin.

"Are you allowed to date yet, squirt?" asked Brent nervously.

"Yes! I am, but they have to get the approval of my sister first!" replied Miriam in a firm tone.

"Great! I would love to take you on a date. Maybe dinner on Saturday night. I could stop by Friday for lunch to speak with your sister if you're interested?" suggested Brent.

"I'm sorry, Brent, but I'm going to have to pass on that. I don't date guys with p**n tapes. Plus, I don't want my brother-in-law or my sister to murder you." revealed Miriam sternly.

"What the hell are you talking about? I don't have a damn p**n tape." yelled Brent furiously.
