SLOANE'S POINT OF VIEW.

Before we could walk in, a familiar voice of someone stops us.

"Hey! It's the girl who almost drowned." Ace's playful voice breaks the tension in my nerves as he stops in front of us. He's dressed like the stereotypical bad boy, with his midnight black hair slicked back, and chains in his Ravenscroft High pants, his leather boots shone against the morning sun, as his smirk almost blinds me.

"Don't call her that," Amara says, staring at him, as her hold tightens on me.

"Oh, it's mother hen too. You're gonna be hovering around all day or what?" He asks, his eyes dark, as he stares down at her. His body language as he regards her is tense, like he's about to snap.

"If you call me that ever again, I swear to fuck, I will knee you so hard in your micro balls, you'll be swearing to Jupiter." The sight of their banter almost breaks a smile on my lips, but my broken heart doesn't permit it.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, referring to Ace.

"Um....going to school."

  • FAKE DATING THE BAD BOY FOR REVENGE 18+   THE DREADED STAGE.

SLOANE'S POINT OF VIEW.My eyes widen at the sight of chaos in the school’s parking lot as Lucien’s car pulls up. The frenzy of reporters with their flashing cameras, their mixed, rushed voices, as they fell over their words, and the way their cameras captured everything in the school. The world suddenly became too small, as my chest constricted again, and my breathing became too heavy. I clenched my palms into fists and bit my lower lip, as tension racked my body whole. The sight of the judges being interviewed made me swallow, as I watched the press do their job.It might have been a daily routine to them, but all I could hear was the harsh thomp of my heart as I stared at them.I swallowed the saliva in my mouth as I clutched the car’s handle tightly. My nerves spiked again, my earlier bravado from Lucien’s pep talk disappeared into thin air, as the familiar chill ran up my spine. Before I could even think about anything else, a reporter pointed at Lucien’s car, making the rest of

SLOANE’S POINT OF VIEW.THE DEBATE.I took deep breaths as I paced up and down through my corridor. My thoughts drifted to the text I’d gotten last night while preparing for this debate.‘You’re in danger because of who you are.’I had another nightmare last night, too. This time, it was the entire school laughing at me as they threw rotten tomatoes at me. In that dream, even Lucien laughed along with them as he poured a bucket of expired milk all over me.My skin crawled with fear as I stopped my pacing. My chest constricted, and all of a sudden, I couldn’t fucking breathe again. What if I fail? What if my nightmare comes true? What if everyone truly starts hating me again? What if I fail?I missed my father, because I know he would have been here telling me everything would be okay. All I wanted to do was hide in a small circle and wait for the world to freeze over. I didn’t want to do this anymore…I just want to fucking quit it all.I would usually be confident, unafraid even, but

ELDRIC'S POINT OF VIEW.I stared at the board before and then smirked. If all goes the way I’ve planned, Sloane would be too humiliated to stand by Lucien’s side, and the fucker would be crushed.“Hello, Mayor,” I said, my lips stretching in a smile, even though I hated the piece of shit. He thinks I’m King Ravenscroft, though, so I’ll just pretend I am while Lucien isn’t here.“What is it, Eldric?” His monotonous, uninterested voice rang out, forcing me to grit my teeth and swallow a snide remark. “I’ve been thinking.”“Really? That’s new.” He replied, and I could hear the sound of papers shuffling through the phone, over that of my subtle hiss.“Yes,” I said through clenched teeth. “I wanted to see if Ravenscroft High could go head-to-head in the coming national competition. The debate one, I think we have a shot at winning, especially with our world-class students.”“Yes, I was about to call the office of your principal on that, but it seems he doesn’t work there anymore.” He said

ELDRIC'S POINT OF VIEW.I stared at the huge Ravenscroft crest on the wall in my study, created with pure gold, and the family’s signature jewels: black opal and alexandrite. The damn thing stared back at me, reminding me of my status each time I glanced at it.I hate the damn thing. The lion on it, the name, everything about this place makes my blood boil. I clutched the ice pack in my hands harder, placing it on my cheeks. That bastard packed a punch, I’ll give him that.I swirled the whiskey in my glass, watching as the amber liquid caught the light, and stretched my lips in a slow, thin smile that never touched my eyes. The crest didn’t belong to Lucien. It didn’t belong to Alicia. And it sure as hell didn’t belong to her parents, those pompous bastards who looked down their noses at me. No, it belonged to me.Me. Eldric Hayes.Ravenscroft.I clenched my jaw at the sound of the name in my head. It should be my name that quakes fear, and admiration in the minds and hearts of ever

LUCIEN'S POINT OF VIEW.YEARS AGO.The first thing I could remember was glass breaking. I was five, or maybe six, I don’t remember my age, but I was small enough to crouch low behind the bannister without being noticed, but at the same time, I was old enough to know that what would follow after the glass breaking would be the piercing screams of my mother, followed by the dark one of my father. Her voice rang out shrill and afraid, followed by the sound of a smack. I peeked and saw her clutching her face, as she sat on the floor, her sobs racking through her as she wept silently.“How dare you question me?” My father spat at her, his belt in hand, as he stood towering above her. My tiny hands had clenched into fists, as hatred blurred my vision. It wasn’t the first time he’d hit her; hell, he did it so often, I could recognise the colour of her real skin, as opposed to that of the foundation she used to mask the bruises.“Please.” My mother whispered brokenly, trembling, as she stare

SLOANE'S POINT OF VIEW.“Where are we going?” I asked him for the third time. Since he’d announced that we would be ditching school, my heart hasn’t been settled. “You know some of us care about our grades.” “Sunshine, you know I’m the best for a reason, right?” He chuckles, and I roll my eyes. He’s so fucking cocky, but I love it.“You haven’t responded to me. Where are we going?”“A spa. You look like you’re troubled, Sloane. Your eyes have bags underneath them, and there are dark circles. I don’t want you falling sick.” He says, driving us through the long road on the mountain. I looked out the window and stared at the ocean beneath us.The scenery was beautiful, almost calming, because for once, the charred, bleeding hands were no longer on my mind.“You want to tell me what happened?” He asked, and I turned to stare at him. Biting my lip, I played with the hem of my skirt. I didn’t want to come off as childish to him.He stared at me with gentle eyes, waiting for my answer.“I h
