16. DESPICABLE? HOW IRONIC..

In her previous life, whenever Anna was faced with any injustice, she would always say "I am your biological daughter, not her" in a fit of anger.

And once she would say that, Tomas would strangely become even more infuriated and treat Imelda much better. As she didn’t know that her word increased Tomas guilt towards Imelda who was also his biological daughter.

But now, she would not be as foolish as before.

"You still have the cheek to say that!" Tomas pointed at Anna furiously. "mike has treated you so well, yet you chose to throw yourself at George Wolf. Do you really think that something can happen between you and Mr. Wolf? He's just playing with you, that's all. How could you be so despicable!"

Lowering her head, Anna smiled sarcastically.

despicable? How ironic, could I be even more despicable than Helen and Imelda.

Helen slept with her brother-in- law, and her daughter stole someone’s boyfriend…

Hahaha!

How dare he call her despicable yet he sneaked being his wife with his wife sister and even had a child.

In fact, Imelda was only two years younger to her!

Meaning by the time he divorced Anna’s mum, he already been sneaking around at least 13 years!

So how dare he point his finger at her and call her despicable?

still holding onto her swollen cheek. "I've already broken up with Mike a long time ago. There's no 'betrayal' to speak of. However, if you really talk about betrayal then let me tell you, he has already betrayed me. He was probably like you and felt that Imelda was better than me. That's why even when he was still with me, he got together with Imelda."

Imelda smiled bitterly. "Once I found out, I broke up with him so that the two lovebirds could be together. After all, even if I had told you about it, anyway you would have made me do so."

Ever since she was young when had she not given in to Imelda

Her mother had given in to Helen stock, and Tomas also made her give in to Imelda.

Disgust rose up Anna’s throat, making her nauseous.

Upon hearing Anna’s word, suspicion rose in him coz to him Imelda didn’t steal mike as he had always thought that Imelda was better choice than Anna.

After all, between a popular starlet and a celebrity's assistant, isn't it obvious who is the better?

The expression on Tomas face explained everything.

"Thankfully I'm with George Wolf. If not, wouldn't it be too unfair to me?" Anna mocked bitterly. "Why not just come straight to the point and tell me why you told me to come back?"

"I'm your father! What kind of attitude is this!" Tomas reprimanded furiously.

"But Mr. Tomas do you recall early you said you don’t have daughter like me? So why did you call me back?” Anna said.

She had already completely given up on him. Also if pretending to be pitiful could not even garner any empathy or pity from him, what was the point of pretending anymore?
