**DYLAN'S POV**

The hallway towards where we were told to go was nice but I walked without direction, my boots echoing too loud in the silence. I didn't talk to any other female luna until I found a small courtyard hidden between two wings of the headquarters.

A garden grew here, wild and untended, with thorny rose bushes climbing the walls and a single stone bench beneath a gnarled oak tree. The moon hung directly overhead, so bright it turned the world to silver and shadow.

I sat on the bench

  • FATED TO MY ENEMY, BOUND BY SIN   Regret the moment

I woke with a violent start, heart hammering against my ribs. The bed was empty. My hand shot out across the sheets, finding only cool fabric where Rhea's warm body had been. Panic crashed over me instantly. The room was still dim, early morning light barely filtering through the curtains. I sat up quickly, clutching the blanket to my bare chest.Oh god. What did we do?Memories flooded back, her mouth on me, her hand working my cock, the way I'd groaned her name like I was starving for her. Asher's sister. The bond with him already sat like a constant, unwanted weight. And now this. I wasn't supposed to want any of this… and now she was gone. What if Asher had come back during the night? What if he'd walked in and seen us? The thought made bile rise in my throat. My wolf whined anxiously inside me, pacing with unease.I scrambled out of bed, legs still shaky from last night. I threw on the first clothes I could find, my sleep shirt and a pair of shorts and crept toward the door, puls

Her lips found mine again, slower this time, deeper. The kiss was full of promise and aching tenderness. Her hand slipped under my sleep shirt, warm palm gliding over my stomach and up to rest against my chest. When her thumb brushed over my nipple, I arched into her with a rough sound.I was hard. My dick throbbed painfully with every heartbeat, begging for attention I didn’t know how to ask for. My hands grew bolder, pushing her shirt higher until she sat up just long enough to pull it off. The sight of her bare skin in the dim light made my mouth go dry.Rhea lowered herself again, skin to skin. The feeling of her body pressing against mine was electric and wrong all at once. She kissed down my neck, sucking lightly at my pulse point, then lower, until her hot mouth closed over my nipple. I groaned, loud and shameless, my fingers threading through her red-streaked hair. One of her hands slid down my body, tracing the waistband of my pants. She paused there, lips brushing my skin as

  • FATED TO MY ENEMY, BOUND BY SIN   I want you

“Rhea…” My voice cracked as I lifted my head. Our faces were too close now. In the dim moonlight filtering through the curtains, I could see the red threads in her hair, the gentle lines at the corners of her warm eyes and the way her lips parted slightly as she studied me."Yes", She answered realizing the way we were close but she didn't pull away. If anything, her hold tightened, protective, possessive in a way that made my wolf stir weakly inside my chest. Before I could think, before I could remember all the reasons this was dangerous, I leaned in. My forehead pressed against hers. Our breaths mingled, shaky and warm. My hand found the side of her neck, fingers trembling as they brushed the soft skin just beneath her ear.She went very still. For one terrible, wonderful second I thought she might push me away. Instead, her hand came up to cradle my jaw, thumb stroking gently over my tear-stained cheek. Her eyes searched mine, questioning and aching."What do you want Dylan?", She

I woke up screaming and thrashing in bed.My body twisted in the sheets, arms flailing, legs kicking at nothing. The scream tore from my throat raw and I couldn't stop it. Couldn't control it. The sound just kept coming, echoing off the walls of my dark bedroom, filling every corner with my terror.I was sweating. Trembling. My sleep shirt clung to my skin, soaked through, and my heart pounded so hard I could feel it in my teeth. The dream was already slipping away, but the feelings remained. The fear. The helplessness. The memory of hands on my body, fingers digging into my wrists, breath hot against my neck.Henry's face. Nigel's smirk. Asher's gold eyes watching me fall apart and doing nothing.I couldn't shake it off. Any of it.The escape from rape replayed behind my eyelids every time I closed them. The way Henry had looked at me like I was prey. The way he had held me down while he whispered what he was going to do to me. The way my wolf had howled inside my chest, desperate an

I stood there for a long time. I wasn't sure how long exactly but I was totally puzzled. My chest felt strange. Hollow and full at the same time, like someone had poured ice water into my lungs and I couldn't cough it out.I pressed my palm flat against my sternum, trying to hold myself together but I couldn't. My hands were shaking, not just from anger but embarrassment and humiliation.I hadn't betrayed him. I had protected him and he had walked away with her, choosing her like he chose Calla over me sometime back."Get it together," I whispered to myself, squeezing my eyes shut. "Get it together, Dylan."But I couldn't. The tears were already burning behind my lids, threatening to spill, but I refused. I refused to cry over him.I wiped my eyes with the back of my hand and turned toward the tree line.I needed to find Lyra. The thought solidified in my chest as I walked. Lyra would know what to do. I wanted to go back to the pack. To get away from here. The path back to the lodge s

"Asher," I blurted, terrified. I didn't know what either one of them would do if they allowed their wolves to take over. And I didn't know what kind of consequences would fall on Asher should any harm or even a threat fall onto another Alpha. "He wasn't trying anything. He didn't mean it like that," I pleaded."Of course I meant it like that," Nigel denied with a wicked grin, like he enjoyed watching Asher struggle with himself. "Look at him. He's handsome. Any wolf would be lucky to have him even though it's forbidden. But he's stuck with you.""Nigel, not helping!" I snapped, ignoring that I was talking to another Alpha and glaring at him for all I was worth."Look at him, Dylan. Asher has so much power he's damn near losing control right now. He's got way too much power for any one wolf to handle. It probably just makes you sick being near him. You don't need to be with a guy like that. You shouldn't be with a guy like that," Nigel pressed. And he was right. Waves of power rippled
