Chapter Twenty-four

Miller was still in the late Rogers apartment as the werewolf king Rico secretly assigned still watched over him there. The dimly lit apartment was shrouded in an eerie silence as Miller, a captive in this Rogers place, cautiously assessed his surroundings again. His cell was a small, grim space, the walls lined with cold, unforgiving bars that left little room for hope. But Miller was not one to give up easily, especially not after everything he had been through.
