Flora Amor gripped the edge of the dresser, her heart pounding so hard she thought she might collapse. The anger darkening Dixal’s face froze her where she stood.

But instead of charging at her, he scooped Devon into his arms and strode out of the room.

“I’ll let you taste Daddy’s special dish,” he told the boy, carrying both the child and a bag of fresh shrimp along with the ingredients for his honey garlic butter shrimp.

She was about to follow them when a sharp pain shot through her chest, spreading to her head until her vision blurred.

“D–Dixal…” she called weakly, but he was already gone with their son.

The pain made her cry out, and in that instant, flashes of forgotten memories struck her like lightning.

“You’re mine from now on, Amor. No one touches even your skin but me.”

She saw him again—inside a car—while she was desperately trying to get out.

“Dixal…” she whispered, her voice trembling, as if he could hear her from across time.

Her chest tightened. Her h

  • FLOWER OF LOVE   THE MEMORABLE PICNIC

Dixal released a deep breath when he saw his wife sprawled across the bed, her face buried in the pillow as quiet sobs shook her shoulders. Only now did he remember what the old man had told him when he regained consciousness after what Veron had done—Amor still believed their marriage was nothing but a lie. No wonder she was furious with him. But the part about her being a bet—that he couldn’t understand at all. Was that why she had left? Then it struck him. Back then… Amor didn’t even know he had a twin. So Dix had pretended to be him. And he was the one who told her she was nothing but a wager. “Friends?” Dixal muttered to himself. “I only have Lemuel… but Dix—he had plenty.” He needed answers. Leaning against the bedroom door, he called his brother. “Is it true?” he asked flatly. “Did you bet on Amor?” There was silence on the line. Then a strained sigh. “You already know,” the young man admitted in a quiet voice. “I regretted it long ago, Dixal. You know how terrified

  • FLOWER OF LOVE   TRYING TO BE A MEDIATOR

"What happened? Why are you here? Is Adele already in the hospital, so you came home first?” Nancy asked in shock when she saw her daughter heading straight to her bedroom. But she was left standing there, mouth agape, when she was completely ignored. Her surprise deepened when Dixal rushed into the house right after. “You’re here too? You’ve woken up already? When did you wake up? Why didn’t either of you tell me?” she fired off one question after another. But he also didn’t respond. He simply bowed in respect to his mother-in-law and walked toward his wife’s room—only to find the door tightly shut. “Amor… let’s talk. Please let me explain,” he pleaded while knocking. “What on earth is happening?” Nancy whispered in utter confusion. No one even acknowledged her. “Amor, please open the door. Let’s talk about this. Amor!” Dixal called again, but there was still no reply from inside. “Ma, do you have a spare key?” he asked his mother-in-law in English. “What? Speak F

  • FLOWER OF LOVE   MISUNDERSTANDING

Flora Amor was already inside her office. Despite feeling unwell, she still forced herself to come in just to inform Derek that he would remain as OIC for the next three days so she could finally take some rest—when her phone suddenly rang. She frowned when she saw Mariel’s name flashing on the screen. “Beshie, I’m already in the elevator on my way to you. Where are you?” Mariel’s voice came sharp through the line. “I’m here in my office on the third floor. You scared me—why did you suddenly rush over?” she asked with a nervous laugh. “Idiot! Up until now you’re still so innocent. That’s why you’re so easy to fool!” Mariel snapped. “Huh? What do you mean? Fool me about what?” Confusion etched across her face. “I’m getting off the elevator. Meet me here!” Mariel ordered before ending the call. She rose at once and hurried out of her office. Along the hallway, she passed two employees whispering to each other. “There’s really something between them, I swear,” one muttered. She

  • FLOWER OF LOVE   IS SHE PREGNANT?

The couple headed straight to Dixal’s office after leaving the conference room. Lemuel veered off in another direction and returned to his own. The moment Flora Amor stepped inside her husband’s office, she immediately searched for the mangoes, the shrimp paste, and the salted pineapple the driver had delivered earlier before they arrived. “Dixal, peel some mangoes for me. Three pieces,” she ordered as she dropped onto the plush sofa. “Later, before lunch,” he replied. “I’ll cook first.” Her ears practically twitched at that. “I want mangoes, Dixal. And plenty of shrimp paste. I watched over you in the hospital for two whole weeks—this is you making it up to me. And don’t forget, you still owe me a lot. It’s already generous of me not to divorce you for what you did. I even stayed by your side while I was mad at you!” Her words fired off in rapid succession. He stared at her in disbelief. “What did I even do? I only said one thing, and you already unloaded a whole speech

  • FLOWER OF LOVE   THE RETURN OF THE BIG BOSS

As soon as they reached the conference room door, Flora Amor suddenly caught Dixal’s hand and stopped him from going in. He frowned. “Why?” he asked. “Are you sure you’re really okay?” she pressed. He gave a restrained smile, then pulled her into his arms and kissed the back of her ear—the way he always did when he was teasing. “I’m not okay. I haven’t watered my Amor for two weeks,” he murmured wickedly. She swatted his back, but her heart leaped with both delight and relief. She silently thanked God that he had awakened at exactly the right time—at exactly the right moment. “Come on, we’ll be late for the meeting,” she said, nudging him forward. He opened the door and gestured for her to enter first. The people inside froze the moment they saw her. “Madam!” Lemuel called out in surprise. She glanced at him and stepped aside to let Dixal enter. Smiling to herself, she watched her husband walk toward his seat. Only after he sat down did she take her own place besid

  • FLOWER OF LOVE   DONALD RANDALL'S VICTORY

A sharp, echoing laugh burst inside the luxurious Ferrari 458 Italia. The sound was so piercing that the driver instinctively lifted a hand to shield his ear, forcing a stiff smile while keeping his eyes on the road. “At last!” Donald Randall laughed again. Dixal—his most despised rival—was finally out of his way. Even if the old man turned against him, he no longer cared. All that mattered was that the company—and most importantly, the FOL Builders Inc. building—would soon be his. His business would thrive beyond imagination. He would become the wealthiest tycoon in the entire country. Once FOL Builders fell into his hands, the old man would be next—just as Dixal had been. They would all serve as nothing more than test subjects for his newly developed drugs. His triumph was cut short by the vibration of his phone. “Cathy,” flashed across the screen. “Brother, I’ve been calling you nonstop. Why did you only answer now?” his sister snapped from the other line. “What is it
