As I gazed into those eyes, my body melted. Seeing him like this made me feel like I'd gone back in time. However, I was well aware that it was foolish of me to wish and imagine that this was the case.

I was aware that Jack now had a wife and a child. I could tell he was happy being with his family. And because of that, it was impossible for us to ever be together again. It gave us a stronger reason to not touch, kiss, or hold each other as much as we did back then.

In spite of this, I was still unable to manage my own emotions well enough.

Jack closed the gap between us and brought our lips together. As I closed my eyes and felt my makeup gradually becoming smudged and damaged, he pulled me closer to him and made our kiss more passionate.
