There were many things I wished would never happen to me. Movies? Yes, it was fun to have that in there but in the real world, when your life was at stake? That was out of the question.

Those words made my heart race. I swallowed hard, darting my eyes around. “What- what do you mean?” I asked.

“Yeah, what do you mean? This is Dr. Shepherd, the best heart surgeon in the city and a doctor of your hospital,” Benjamin backed me up.
