The walk to the café was supposed to take thirty-five minutes.

I had been doing it for months now—every morning, to help with my weight loss journey. But this morning, I wasn’t thinking about any of that.

All I had in my head was Mitch’s voice.

"Let’s open our marriage."

My feet moved on their own.

Left. Right. Left. Right.

My eyes stared straight ahead but saw nothing. The world was a blur of gray sidewalks, gray buildings, and gray sky.

I didn’t notice the clouds gathering, nor the

  • FORBIDDEN: HIS PLUS SIZE OBSESSION    I KNEW IT

Lena couldn’t stop side-eyeing Tarzan throughout the drive. Something was wrong—deeply wrong. His left hand gripped the steering wheel tightly, knuckles pale, while his right hand kept tapping restlessly against the side of his seat. The movement wasn’t casual. It was frantic. Every few seconds, his fingers trembled violently before he pressed them harder into the leather, as if trying to force them still. *Maybe it’s just my imagination,* she told herself at first, shifting uncomfortably in her seat. But the longer she watched, the more certain she became. Gently, she reached over and took his trembling right hand in hers, threading her fingers through his. He startled so sharply the car swerved a fraction. “What’s wrong, baby?” Her voice was soft, filled with worry. “Is there anything bothering you?” Tarzan turned his head toward her. His eyes—usually so warm were dazed, glassy, and frighteningly expressionless, like a man staring through fog. “Baby?” she pressed,

  • FORBIDDEN: HIS PLUS SIZE OBSESSION    IS SHE WORTH IT?

Damon was silent. “Are you suddenly deaf?” Tarzan snarled, anger boiling over. “I’ve been too easy on you. I pulled you too close, let you speak carelessly—even about my woman. You’ve lost your goddamn mind, Damon!” Still nothing. The silence stretched between them, thick and suffocating. “Damon, talk, you bastard!” Tarzan exploded, fear twisting into fury. “Are you going to betray me? Be man enough to admit it!” When Damon finally spoke, his voice was slow and heavy, laced with exhaustion and something deeper—resignation, perhaps even sorrow. “If you die… Lena will move on. Did your parents really sacrifice everything just so you could throw your life away for a woman?” Tarzan’s breath caught painfully. A raw, searing pain bloomed behind his ribs at the mention of his parents. “Don’t you dare speak for my parents,” he whispered, his voice hoarse and trembling with barely contained rage. “I have some advice for you, Tarzan. Take it however you like… but it comes from a place

AUTHOR'S POV (An Hour Ago) “You have to break up with her immediately if you want her safe.” Tarzan's eyes widened as the words hit him like a dagger to his chest. “Have you lost your damn mind?” he snarled, his voice low and dangerous. “How could you even suggest such nonsense? If this is your idea of a joke, I don’t entertain it.” There was a heavy pause on the other end. Then Damon delivered the blow. “Andres is in the city.” Tarzan’s heart instantly slammed against his ribs, a wild, frantic beat that stole the breath from his lungs. The name alone dragged ice through his veins. He swallowed hard, the motion painful against the sudden tightness in his throat. He hadn't expected such news this soon. “I just received confirmation he’s been out of jail for two years,” Damon continued grimly. “He’s been in hiding, preparing. The fact that he’s resurfaced now… it means he’s ready. He’s been waiting for this.” Tarzan’s jaw clenched so tightly it ached as rage and disbelief warr

  • FORBIDDEN: HIS PLUS SIZE OBSESSION    WHERE IS DAMON?

She froze mid-step, her shoulders tensing visibly. For a long moment, the busy hum of the department store faded into nothing. It was just her, me, and the lie hanging thick between us. My heart slammed against my ribs. I desperately wanted to believe she could be honest with me—even though I knew I didn’t deserve it. “Tarzan… I already told you,” she said slowly. “Nothing happened. Can we please leave?” She reached for my hand, but I didn’t move. My fingers stayed buried in my pocket, nails biting into my palm. Andres’s scent still clung to her. The thought of him breathing the same air as her, flashing that smug fucking smile, made my blood boil. “Nothing, huh?” I asked again. “Yes. Why are you suddenly asking me if I have something to tell you?” I swallowed hard. A dark part of me wanted to push—wanted to tell her I could smell him on her skin. I wanted to demand every single detail so I could decide exactly how to destroy that bastard. But the part of me that c

  • FORBIDDEN: HIS PLUS SIZE OBSESSION    MAKE A DEMAND

TARZAN'S POVA familiar scent hit me the moment our bodies met, my eyes widened as the realization slammed into me like a fist to the gut. Andres. He found her. At first I thought I was imagining it, but it was all over her—clinging to her clothes, her hair, her skin. What the hell was his scent doing on my woman? My jaw clenched so hard it ached. People don’t leave their scent on someone from a casual conversation. That kind of closeness meant he had been right up on her. The thought of Andres standing that close to Lena made something dark and ugly twist inside my chest. How close had he gotten? Had he touched her? Why the fuck hadn’t she told me? “Lena,” I murmured. “Hmm?” I pulled back just enough to look into her eyes. “Turn around.” Confusion flickered across her face, but she obeyed. As she turned, my gaze dropped to the exposed strip of skin above her jeans. Her blouse had ridden up, revealing the soft curve of her lower back. Without thinking, I stepp

  • FORBIDDEN: HIS PLUS SIZE OBSESSION    THANK GOD

I shoved him away with every ounce of strength I had and slapped him hard across the face. “How dare you!” The sharp crack echoed through the hushed luxury watch section. Andres touched his cheek, his icy blue eyes flashing with surprise. Then, slowly, a dangerous smile curved his lips. His two bodyguards shifted their weight but stayed back. For a heartbeat, the air grew thick and heavy. My pulse thundered in my ears. I was completely alone in this section—Tarzan was still in the fitting room on the far side of the store. I took a careful step back, ready to scream or run. “You have fire,” Andres said softly, almost admiringly. “I like that. I like it even more.” I glared at him, jaw tight. “Stay the hell away from me. I’m here with my boyfriend, and I’m not interested in whatever game you’re playing.” He chuckled, casually adjusting his designer shades. “Boyfriend… for now.” His gaze swept over me like I was already his. “But Lena, I own this store—and many others. I can gi

  • FORBIDDEN: HIS PLUS SIZE OBSESSION    WRONG NUMBER

My thumb hovered over her name. On second thought, I decided not to call and shoved the phone back into my pocket. Let her not think I’m sitting here waiting like some lovesick fool. The last thing I needed was for her to start feeling like she was somehow important to me, looking like that. Yes
