“How was the flight?”
“Good babe, and thanks for the jacket, it’s so warm and comfortable.” I said through the phone which was pinched between my shoulder and my cheek.

“That is amazing. Don’t worry about staying behind, it will also be nice to just have the first few days with dad alone. Are you sure you don’t want to stay in the house? It will be so much better. And my dad wont be around on most days.” I said, hailing a cab.
