Elara's POV

I was still staring at Bella when her eyes traveled over my dress. I could see the disapproval flash across her face like lightning - the way her lips pressed together, the way her eyebrows twitched downward. But she quickly covered it up with that fake smile she wore like a mask.

The disapproval in her eyes made my heart sing with satisfaction. Good. Let her be bothered by how I looked.

"Are we supposed to be in a bad mood?" Killian asked, looking between us with confusion.

Bella's smile stretched wider, but I could see the strain around her eyes. "No, why would I want that? I'm just happy to see you guys finally getting along."

Killian nodded, and his next words made my chest warm with pride. "Yeah, because she's my wife. Couples fight all the time and make up easily too."

I smiled genuinely for the first time since breakfast started. Finally, Killian was making it clear where his loyalties should lie. Finally, he was making this snake, this kill-joy, two-faced Bella kee

Killian's POV)Six months had passed since the trials ended.Six months of healing. Of rebuilding. Of learning to live again.Life had found a new rhythm. A peaceful one.Elara's memories before the incident had fully returned. But some moments from her captivity were still hazy. The doctors said that might be her mind protecting itself. And that was okay. She'd been going to therapy twice a week. Processing the trauma.I went with her sometimes. Learning how to support her. How to recognize when she was struggling even when she didn't say it.How to be the husband she deserved. The company was thriving again. With Dorian gone and my full attention back on business, we'd turned things around.Dreven And Alonso Co was stronger than ever. Making waves in the industry. Breaking records. But none of it mattered compared to coming home to Elara every night.Last month, Grandfather had officially retired. Signed over everything to Elara."You've proven yourself ten times over," he'd told he

Elara's POVTwo weeks had passed since Bella's breakdown. She'd been committed to a psychiatric facility. The doctors said she'd had a complete psychotic break. Her obsession with Killian combined with the stress of everything collapsing had shattered her mind. They said she'd be there for years. Maybe forever.I felt pity for her. A tiny piece of sympathy for the girl she'd once been before obsession destroyed her.But mostly I felt relief. She was gone. She couldn't hurt us anymore. Then we got the news about Dorian. He was dead. Killed in his cell.Apparently, he'd gotten involved with a dangerous group inside. Some gang that promised to help him get revenge on Killian. But they'd turned on him. Beat him to death in his cell one night for stealing from their boss.Killian didn't cry. Didn't even look sad. Just stared at the wall for a long time."He was my brother," he said quietly. "And I feel nothing.""He tried to destroy us," I said gently. "You're allowed to feel nothing.""I

Bella's POVEverything was falling apart.I stared at Killian, seeing the disgust in his eyes. The anger. The finality. He knew. He knew everything. The pregnancy test I'd bought. The prenatal vitamins I'd planted. All of it fake. All of it lies. How did he figure it out?And then I remembered. Last week. The sudden checkup at the hospital. He'd insisted I go. Said it was important for the baby.I'd gone without thinking. Without suspecting. They'd taken my blood. Run tests. It had been a trap. And I'd walked right into it.How could I have been so stupid? but I had paid that staff to create a false report, not knowing it was a trap."I love you," I said desperately. My voice breaking. My last card to play. "I've always loved you, Killian. Elara was just in the way.""Elara is my wife," Killian said. His voice cold. "The only woman I'll ever love. And you betrayed both of us."His words cut like knives. Each one drawing blood. All those weeks of friendship. Of being there for him. Of

Killian's POVTwo weeks later, I finally brought Elara home. She was still weak. Still recovering. But the doctors said being in familiar surroundings would help her memories return faster. And they were right. The moment we walked through the door, something shifted in her eyes."I remember this," she whispered. Looking around the foyer. "I remember coming home for the first time. Being nervous. Wondering if I belonged here.""You've always belonged here," I said. Taking her hand. "From the very first day."Over the next few days, more memories came flooding back. She'd walk into the kitchen and suddenly remember us cooking together. Laughing. Making a mess. She'd see our bedroom and remember quiet mornings. Whispered conversations. The way we'd fall asleep tangled together. Each memory made her cry. Made us both cry. But they were good tears. Happy tears. It was like falling in love all over again. Except better. Because now I knew how precious it all was. How easily it could be tak

Elara's POVI woke up in a hospital bed.White walls. White sheets. The smell of antiseptic. Machines beeping steadily beside me.My side hurt. A deep, burning pain that made me gasp when I tried to move. But I was alive. The memories came back in pieces. Fragments. Like a puzzle I was slowly putting together.Adrian. The cabin. Being called Emma when my name was Elara. The medication that kept me foggy. The lies he told me every single day.And then Killian. Standing at the edge of the trees. Looking at me like I was his whole world. The memories were still painful. Still confusing. Some parts clear and sharp. Others fuzzy and distant. But I remembered enough.Enough to know that Adrian had kidnapped me. That he'd drugged me. That he'd kept me prisoner for over a month.Enough to know that Aunt Isadora and Leandro had set the trap. Had pushed me. Had left me bleeding.Enough to know I'd been living a lie.And enough to know that Killian was my husband. That I loved him. That he'd bee

Isadora's POVMy phone rang at 2 AM.I was lying in bed, staring at the ceiling, unable to sleep like I'd been unable to sleep for weeks now.Unknown number. But I knew before I even answered that everything had fallen apart."Hello?" My voice came out shaking."Isadora." Adrian's voice. Broken. Defeated. "They found me."My blood ran cold. "What happened?""Killian found Elara. She remembered everything. And I... I shot her."The room spun. "You what?""I didn't mean to. The gun just went off. She's in the hospital and Killian nearly killed me. Then the police came. I'm in custody, Isadora. And I told them everything."Everything.The phone slipped from my hand. It's over. Everything was over.I sat up slowly. My hands were shaking. My whole body was shaking.Adrian had talked. Had given them my name. Had told them what we'd done.Which meant the police would come for me soon.I walked to the window. The city was dark. Quiet. Sleeping peacefully while my entire world crumbled. What
