ALEX’S POV
I had to leave the room. I was scared I would hurt Eva if I stayed there any longer.
My blood boiled when I heard Eva talking about drinking the potion. I had died a thousand deaths every day watching her life ebb slowly. Here she was, ready to risk her life in the blink of an eye.
I continued walking aimlessly through the palace, then the garden, just trying to let out some steam. Suddenly my feet came to a halt. What if Eva tried to drink the potion while I was not with her.
