Chapter Six: Move On

The afternoon sun was high in the sky before Gaia attempted to roll out of bed. She had ignored Matilda’s calls and texts the entire morning. The night seemed to drag on as she cried herself to sleep, watching the sunrise. A part of her hadn’t been able to stop wondering what Bash was doing as she laid there in mourning.
