Maya

It was the weekend — three days after the dinner with my parents that hadn’t ended well — and I watched quietly as Liam rolled out his suitcase, walked to the refrigerator, and grabbed a bottle of water, drinking it in large gulps.

Apparently, he was leaving for a shoot and wouldn’t be back until… whenever. It was saddening.

Because we had kind of gotten along now, especially after that dinner, and I’d be alone again. No friends, no family, and now no fake boyfriend.

Just me and my job.

He exhaled and glanced at me where I sat on the couch with my legs tucked beneath me.

“Aw. You’ll miss me,” he teased, and I rolled my eyes with a huff.

“You wish,” I muttered.

But yes, I would. And it was… weird.

He laughed and walked toward me. In just a pair of jeans and a One Direction t-shirt, he looked amazing.

“You’ve been oddly quiet and staring at me for the past few minutes. You sure?” He placed both his arms at my sides, almost caging me in.

I bit my lip.

“I’ll be moving back to my apar

MayaWe arrived in the countryside in less than four hours, and Liam checked us into a room. The place was beautiful—serene—but I still couldn’t help the feeling that I didn’t belong here. It was deep-rooted, something I couldn’t shake off.“Here,” he mumbled as he placed my bag in the closet. “We’ll be staying here until the shoot is over.”He walked back to where I stood in the middle of the room, unsure of what to do with myself. He slowed, watching me curiously—cautiously.“You good?” he asked. The grin on his face slowly disappeared until his expression turned serious.I nodded, then dropped my gaze to my hands, wringing my fingers together.“Maya.”His voice was firm and soft at the same time. My eyes snapped up to his as he reached out, his fingers brushing lightly over my chin. His green eyes bore into me, like he could read every thought—see straight into the depths of my soul.It was… disturbing.“What’s wrong? You can always talk to me,” he whispered, his voice soothing and

Liam“…that girl, the one from the picture… she’s a co-actor. Actress,” I murmured as I drew small circles on Maya’s back. We were spooning. She stiffened slightly. I twirled a strand of her hair between my fingers.“She’s always had this huge crush on me, and it doesn’t help that my mother keeps shipping us together.”Speaking of which, my mother had been completely against me taking a day off to see my ‘girlfriend.’The director didn’t mind though—my scenes were on hold for a short while anyway.“So you kissed her?” Maya asked. Her voice was quiet, but the bite in her tone was undeniable. Somehow, it made me smile.“I did not. She lured me in and kissed me. Then I found out she took a picture and sent it to you, which I still have no idea how she managed. I didn’t give her your number.” I pressed my lips together, trying to remember if she’d had my phone at any point.Even if she had, she didn’t know my passcode—or where to find Maya’s number. She must’ve gotten it elsewhere.Maya s

MayaHe chased me.Fuckkk.I could hear him right on my heels. My heart was pounding so hard I genuinely thought I might drop dead — which would honestly be fine. Anything to escape this humiliation.I was inches from the staircase when he caught me. His arm wrapped around my midsection, and in the next second I was in the air — then over his shoulder.I screamed so loudly anyone would think I was being murdered or kidnapped. He spanked me, and I went quiet almost instantly.I shouldn’t like that, right? But I did. I fucking did.I knew he was taking me back to his room, and I shut my eyes, praying this was a dream. It wouldn’t even be a horrible one. It would at least save me the embarrassment. No such luck.He dumped me on his bed and lowered himself in front of me so we were eye level.I shut my eyes again, pressing my lips together and he chuckled — a deep, belly-deep laugh. He brushed the back of his hand across my face, and I could feel my skin heating even more.“Did you reall

  • Fake Dating My Highschool Bully   Caught in the act

MayaI returned home a little later than usual because I’d stayed in the office long after everyone else had left. It took the bodyguard checking in on me to make me realize how late it actually was, and I had to leave the rest of Noah’s profile work for another day.I’d met Noah twice since Liam left, and well… he’d given me meaningful information. He also tried being friendly—overly friendly, something I didn’t encourage.Anna had complained earlier about Liam not being around for her to start his profile. I’d said nothing. Honestly, the only person I spoke to in that office was Jerry. The man made good company—funny and sassy.I pushed the door open and walked into the eerily quiet house. A sigh escaped me as I stopped by the refrigerator to grab a bottle of water before heading to my room, but halfway there, I paused.I had never been in Liam’s room. Not once. I didn’t even know what it looked like. And right now seemed like the perfect opportunity—if it wasn’t locked.I turned a

•.•Harper•.• “…And… cut. Take ten,” the director yelled, and I moved away immediately as my mother handed me a bottle of water. I took it and finished it in a few seconds before discarding the bottle. I ran my fingers through my hair as the female main character went for a retouch. I’ve never been this annoyed to be on set, and no, I wasn’t even feeling the shit I was doing. Worse still, my mind wasn’t here. It was with a certain brown-haired, 5ft woman — and I had no idea if that was a good thing. Abigail approached, and my expression changed instantly. I walked away, and she followed behind me. “Liam, wait, I’m sorry!” she called, but I kept moving. I had no idea where I was going — anywhere away from that bitch. She’d told me she wanted to talk, only for her to pull a fast one and kiss me. She was not only a pick-me, but also a self-serving slut who doesn’t know when to back the fuck off. “Get the hell away from me. I don’t want to do something you’d regret.”

  • Fake Dating My Highschool Bully   Another Woman

MayaHis phone rang somewhere around, but we didn’t stop.He walked us toward somewhere — anywhere — and it was only when my skin pressed against cold, hard marble that I realized I was on the counter. Parting my legs, he stepped in between them, our chests flush against each other.“You should stop me,” he murmured against my lips, and I tugged on his hair. Good thing I didn’t want him to stop.He caressed my waist, pulling me impossibly closer. His phone rang again, this time vibrating against my leg through his pocket.Um, okay. That seemed important.I began pulling away, and he let out a sound of disapproval. I licked my bottom lip and stared at his face, but he wasted no time in sucking at my neck.I tipped my head up as a shaky moan escaped me.“Liam…” I breathed. “You should pick your call.”“Not important,” he mumbled, trailing kisses along my collarbone.I let him continue as the phone went silent — until it started again. This time he pulled away with a frustrated groan, wh
