The lawyer’s voice crackled through the phone speaker, tense and rushed.

“We froze three accounts this morning,” he said. “But there’s a problem. Two million dollars already moved out before we got the order through.”

Christian’s hand tightened around his coffee cup. “Where did it go?”

“We’re tracing it now. It looks like it passed through several accounts before disappearing into something offshore. This wasn’t sloppy work, Christian. Whoever did this knew exactly what they were doing.”

  • Fakely Inlove With The Billionaire   The Baby News

Three months passed with something close to peace settling over the family. Ellison’s trial moved forward steadily, evidence mounting against him with each passing week. Life started feeling normal again, or as normal as anything could feel after everything they had survived.Jessica sat in the bathroom, staring at the small stick in her trembling hands, disbelief washing over her in waves. Two lines. Clear and unmistakable. She pressed a hand against her mouth, tears building instantly as a mixture of shock and overwhelming joy flooded through her chest.“Jessica?” Christian’s voice called from outside the bathroom door. “Are you okay in there? You’ve been quiet for a while.”She opened the door slowly, still holding the test, unable to speak past the emotion clogging her throat.Christian’s eyes dropped to her hands, confusion shifting quickly into stunned realization.“Is that—” he started.“I’m pregnant,” Jessica whispered, tears finally spilling down her cheeks.Christian’s face

  • Fakely Inlove With The Billionaire   Full Disclosure

Sarah arrived early the next morning, her face serious as Jessica explained everything from the previous night, including Arnold’s confession about William Marlowe.“This changes the story significantly,” Sarah said, taking careful notes. “But it doesn’t have to destroy anything, if handled correctly.”“How do we handle admitting Grandfather cut corners decades ago without destroying his reputation completely?” Christian asked.“By framing it as growth,” Sarah said. “A young businessman who made serious mistakes early in his career, spent decades trying to correct those wrongs, and now chooses complete transparency rather than continuing to hide behind those old errors.”“Will people actually believe that?” Jessica asked.“Some won’t,” Sarah admitted honestly. “But most people respect genuine accountability more than perfect facades. If Arnold speaks publicly himself, takes responsibility clearly, it humanizes rather than condemns him.”Arnold sat quietly through this exchange, exhaus

  • Fakely Inlove With The Billionaire   Deeper Secrets

“We need to trace this number too,” Christian said, showing the message to Felix. “It’s different from Ellison’s usual contact.”Felix examined the message carefully. “Give me a moment.”While he worked, Jessica turned to Arnold, unease settling in her chest. “What truths could be worse than a criminal organization threatening our family?”Arnold’s face had gone pale, something troubled flickering behind his tired eyes.“Grandfather,” Christian said slowly, noticing the change immediately. “Do you know what this message is talking about?”“I have suspicions,” Arnold admitted quietly. “Things I hoped would never need to surface.”“Tell us,” Jessica said firmly. “We can’t keep uncovering secrets one painful revelation at a time. If there’s something else, we need to know now.”Arnold sighed heavily, lowering himself into a chair with obvious exhaustion. “This goes back further than Robert’s debt. Back to when I first started this company, before either of you were born.”“What happened?

  • Fakely Inlove With The Billionaire   Trust No One

“We start over,” Christian said, his voice hard with resolve. “Nobody outside this room gets information from now on. Not Felix’s team, not any staff, nobody.”“That’s not realistic,” Jessica said. “We can’t run this entire operation alone.”“We can trim it down to only the people we absolutely trust,” Christian said. “You, me, Grandfather, your mother. That’s it.”“What about Felix?” Jessica asked. “He’s the one who caught the infiltrated agent in the first place.”Christian hesitated, clearly wrestling with the question. “He’s helped us so far. But after this, I want everything he does double checked.”Arnold, still recovering from the morning’s scare, sat quietly listening to the conversation. “This paranoia will destroy us faster than Ellison ever could,” he said finally.“What choice do we have?” Christian asked. “Every person we trust seems to become another crack in our defenses.”“The choice to fight smarter, not more fearfully,” Arnold said. “If we isolate ourselves completel

  • Fakely Inlove With The Billionaire   The Appointment

“Cancel it,” Christian said the moment they returned home, showing Arnold the message. “Cancel tomorrow’s appointment immediately.”“I can’t simply cancel a cardiology checkup,” Arnold said, though fear flickered behind his eyes. “Missing it creates its own risks.”“Then we send security,” Christian said firmly. “A full team, whether you like it or not.”“Ellison specifically mentioned alone,” Jessica said, worry evident in her voice. “If he sees extra security, he might do something reckless instead of just talking.”“So what do you propose?” Christian asked. “Send my grandfather completely unprotected into a trap?”“No,” Jessica said, thinking quickly. “We make it look like he’s alone while actually surrounding him with protection. Undercover security, positioned discreetly throughout the building.”Arnold nodded slowly. “That could work. Ellison wants information or intimidation, not necessarily violence in a public medical building.”“We can’t be certain of that,” Christian said g

  • Fakely Inlove With The Billionaire   The Real Traitor

“I never said her name,” Lira said quickly. “I only mentioned someone using genuine friendship as cover.”“But you looked right at her,” Jessica said, watching Faith’s face crumple with hurt and disbelief.“I didn’t do anything,” Faith said, her voice shaking. “How many times do I have to prove myself to this family? I helped expose Barry. I met with Ellison only once, out of fear, and told you everything about it.”“Maybe that’s exactly what someone playing both sides would say,” Christian said, though uncertainty colored his voice now.“Or maybe I’m just an easy target because I already made mistakes once,” Faith snapped, anger breaking through her fear. “Every single time something goes wrong in this house, everyone looks at me first.”“That’s not fair,” Jessica started.“Isn’t it?” Faith interrupted. “I’ve spent months trying to prove myself, and the moment Lira mentions someone using friendship as cover, everyone assumes it’s me instead of considering other options.”The room fel
