Jace's POV

Jace's POV I woke up before her, her body was tangled in mine and it took all the carefulness I could muster to detach myself from her and get up. It had been a long night, after I came, she had come twice and I had matched up the numbers until we both came together and fell asleep. At some point during all of that she had forced me to untie her and I had not even hesitated before removing the knot around her wrist and letting her have a little bit of control. I was going to attempt to be sweet and make her breakfast and then we would bathe together before we finally talked about the events of the past two days. I was slipping on my sweatpant when I heard the door, I groaned as I hurried through the process and then went out the door. I swung it open and Mitchell stood on the other side, he looked drained like he didn't have enough sleep and I raised a brow. “She didn't even let you sleep?”“Oh she was nice, this is all on me. I did a solo movie night and watched about three romc

Maya's POV I couldn't shake off the knowledge that Mitchell was in the next room, I lay on my bed, my blanket pulled to my neck and my hands clutched the edge. My eyes were closed but I wasn't asleep, far from it if I may. He wasn't snoring and I don't know why I took him for a snorer but if that was the determinant of whether he was sleeping or not, it meant he was awake. I hadn't been prepared for the way I had reacted to seeing him earlier at the club, he had completely snuck up on me and it wasn't till his smell had crawled around me that I had turned to find him next to me. After that, I struggled to find my words for a good minute before I eventually came up with a smart mouthed retort. This time, I even knew it didn't have my usual sting and I was worried I was losing the level of hatred I should carry for him. He didn't need to have any positive or sexual impact on my person. I shut my eyes and heard a sharp curse from outside of my door, I stiffened and slowly, I pulled

Jace's POV She was so mad at me but yet still so freaking wet for me, I gently put her down on the bed, deciding that a frustrated Melina would give me the best orgasm. “Look at me.” I ordered and it was purely subconscious the way she turned to me, of course it was innate in Melina to obey me but her stubbornness always fought against her. She turned her face away from me again but I pulled her back to me. “Never keep anything from me and even though this isn't real, even if I am not your real boyfriend, you are mine. Is that clear? Mine.”I didn't know where the words were coming from but I meant it, I meant it as badly as I wanted to fuck her and she moaned. She pulled my face to hers and kissed me again, I pulled away from the kiss and reached for my side drawer, my hands searching for a prop I used to keep around and when I found it, I pulled it out and her eyes widened.“What are you doing?” She gasped as I trapped her hands above her head, bringing the rope around her wrist.

Melina's POV “Don't touch me,” I muttered as Jace reached for me. I moved to the extreme end of the back seat, making sure there was enough space between us. My mind was hazy and my body puddled against the seat. Mitchell was driving and it was over five minutes of pin drop silence, nobody in the car said anything, only the tension between Jace and I hung in the air. “You are mad at me. I don't understand why you're mad at me,” Jace had the audacity to say again and I turned to him, the drinks I had taken were obviously not enough for me to ignore the nonchalance in his words. “You gotta be kidding me,” I slurred, my irritation welling inside of me. “Mitchell, pull over at my house I don't want to go to this jerk face’s place!”“There is no way I am letting you go back there on your own. Not with the messages they are sending,” he muttered, pulling me to him and my eyes widened as understanding creeped in. I met Maya's eyes from the rearview mirror and she looked amused, she shoo

Melina’s POV What do you do a day after you find a pile of dead rodents at your doorstep? The only correct answer was to ‘go partying’.“Are you going back to the table?” Maya asked me as we climbed down, we slithered through the crowd amidst the sound of people clapping and cheering making way for we found our way to the corner of the bar. There was an amused look in her eyes and I couldn't blame her, she was consistently seeing a different side of me and I didn't know how that made her feel, matter of fact, I didn't even know how it made me feel.“Yes. One more time and then we can sit and watch,” I answered. Several crates of drinks were arranged on our table, a little prize for our entertainment. “Thanks guys!” I yelled out and received loud cheers, Maya was laughing as she took me in, her surprise clear as day in her eyes. The thing is, sometimes I believe I am a fraud. My changing personalities and my many layers made me a little lost on who the real Melina was. Maybe the

Jace's POV I watched them leave without any words, no thoughts but only fear mixed with rage but I was helpless.Dorado was a slimy motherfucker with an ugly face and an evil mind and I hoped he fell off a cliff and died the most miserable death. I ran my hands through my hair, they were longer than usual and I didn't care enough to take it for a trim. It was the last fucking thing on my mind but somehow in this moment, it was all I could think of. I was feeling this myriad of emotions and my head was spinning, the bar went on like that whole exchange hadn't happened. I was about to order a new round of drink when a larger man came to my side, he nodded and I raised a brow. “I'm sorry, I'm gonna have to ask you to leave. Your whole scene caused a load of discomfort so if you can exit.”Oh, he was the bouncer and he was about to bounce me. “Fuck, really?” I muttered but I didn't argue with him, I simply picked up my phone and slid it into my pants before stepping out. It was the
