After she finished cooking, Alina took her time to tidy up the kitchen. The smell of her food filled the house—warm and delicious. She smiled, feeling proud of herself.

She went upstairs and took a long bath, letting the steam relax her body. Afterward, she wrapped herself in a towel, dried off, and changed into something simple: a loose top and black leggings. Nothing fancy, just soft and comfortable.

Once dressed, she went back downstairs.

Dinner was already set for her and Aiden, but she still had a bit more to do.

She walked to the maids’ quarters and gently knocked.

Two maids quickly came out.

"You can help serve the rest," Alina said kindly. "I’ve already set the table for Aiden and myself. The rest is for you and the staff."

The maids smiled warmly and thanked her. Alina smiled back, then went back to the dining room and slowly sat down. Her food was untouched as she didn’t want to eat without him.

As she leaned back, she remembered Mandy’s voice:
