Chapter 10

A few hours have passed and the clock has already hit 10 pm. Two steaming cups of coffee rested on the table between Oliver who sat across from Emily. Paper in their hands.

"So, let’s go with hobbies and favorites," Oliver said, glancing at the list of questions on the paper. "Let's see how well you know me."

Emily leaned back on the couch, a smug grin on her face, "Go on, Mr. Sterling. I am confident I could ace them”

Oliver raised a brow, feeling a little competitive, “So, when’s my birthday and birthplace?”

“October 30. Orinda, California, USA”

“That’s easy. I knew you would know that” he looked over the lists, “Let’s see…height and weight—”

“6 ½ inches and 185 lbs while your shoe size is 10”

Oliver raised a brow, “How do you know that?”

Emily shrugged, taking a sip of her coffee, “Well, I am the one who chooses your shoes, gives your measurements to the tailors, and the one who usually fills up your medical information whenever you get injured from your hobby of car racing.
