Chapter 7

Lydia's POV

It has been a week after the party. Life was as usual, boring as hell. Blake hasn't showed up after the party night. Alessa was with him.

They had gone to a cousin's wedding. Close cousin, to be exact. I missed the twins. And I wasn't the only one.

River, Jules and Nate were with me. The are like the bright light in our group. Well, Alessa is. Blake is too because he is sometimes with us.

I groaned as I got out of the bed. Last friday, my reaction was the same. I got out of the bed and went in the bathroom, straight.

I avoided to look in the mirror because I just knew that I looked like a freaking ghost. If I look at the mirror then I would just scream.

I sighed as I took a shower first and then washed my face and brushed my teeth. I got out of the room and didn't blow dry my hair because I didn't feel like doing it.

I wore a sleeveless purple crop top and paired it with black jeans. I wore my black converse and hung my bag on my shoulder.

I took my phone and went downstairs, brushing my hair with my fingers. "Good morning" I greeted everyone as I entered the dining room.

Jules, mom, dad and some maids were present there. I sat on my usual seat as they greeted me back.

The maids served me bowl of fruits, which had chocolate syrup poured on it, and a mug of coffee. Because I am weird, I drank the coffee first and then had fruits.

I don't know why I do it, but I just do. And per usual, Julia gave me a weird look which I am prone of looking at everytime I do it.

After breakfast, me and Julia rushed in my car and drove away to school listening to some random pop songs.

When we arrived, I parked my car at the usual spot and we got out of the car. I saw the same group of freshmen, who have a weird fetish for my car.

They come and gawk at my car every single day but I choose to ignore them.

We were greeted by River and Nate. They greeted us and we greeted them back. Julia and Nate have become closer because they get more time to spend with eachother.

And the secret is that Nate is asking out Julia soon.

They both went to their conversation and River and me started walking .

"When are they coming back?" I asked him and sighed. "You miss them don't you?" He asks me and I nodded. He gave me a bright smile but didn't answer my question.

We entered the halls and I gasped when I saw Alessa and Blake, standing all in their glory. Looking at Blake increased my heartbeat. He was looking at me too.

I gave him a small smile and he nodded as an acknowledgement. My heart fluttered even at this small gesture.

Alessa pulled me in a hug and we squealed. "Oh my gosh! I have so much to tell you guys. The wedding was amaze balls! Where is River? Oh, there he is!" She gushed and she ran to River.

She and River shared a long kiss.

Awwww.

When will I be in a relationship?

"You girls squeal like freaking pigs" Blake said and he walked away in his next class.

Well....okay. That was awkward.

I shrugged my thoughts off and headed to my next class too after saying my good-byes.

The fact that Blake was kissing another girl after kissing me at the party had bothered me a lot. But I had shrugged it off because I am nothing to him.

Probably just an acquaintance though we know eachother from our childhood days.

The teacher entered soon enough and started with the lecture. After some agonizing hours of different lectures, the bell finally rang and it was the lunch time.

I went to the canteen but was stopped rather rudely when someone came in my way. I groaned as I looked at the face of the bitch herself.

"What the fuck do you want Amy?" I asked her and she scowled at me and crossed her hands on her chest. Her minions were standing right behind her.

By 'minions' I mean Nina and Rachel. I hate the three of them with all my guts. I still remember the lunch incident I had with them in my 7th grade.

"Oh, I must ask what do you want to leave my Blake to me?" She asked as she stepped forward. This is so typical. The bad bitch warning an innocent girl because of some boy.

I raised an eyebrow at her. "You are dumb too" she stated and I felt my blood boil. "I want you to stay away from Blake. He is mine okay? And now that he is back I want you to keep your slutty ass to yourself and not harass him because he clearly isn't interested in you. You are just a stupid fake bitch with a big fake fat ass. And have you seen your face? It looks so fa-" I cut her off.

"You call me what? Fake? Bitch please. Everyone knows who the fake one is here. Should I recall the Twitter incident of our 9th grade? I still wonder how your boobs grew bigger. Oh and the ass grew big too in the 10th grade. Should I bring up the last year too? We started with a nose job back then. Oh and what about the time when you made a fake ID to join an illegal club and your parents had to pay for your ba-" I cut off when someone grabbed my hand and pulled me away from Amy.

"That's enough Lydia" I heard Nate's voice. "Fuck you bitch" she snarled at me and was charging forward to hit me when Nate pulled me back and she fell straight on her face.

Rachel and Nina gasped and helped her get up while Nate dragged me away from Amy and made me sit on my chair.

"That was so fucking cool! That's my sis!" He said and we high-fived. I grinned at River and Blake who had proud smiles on their faces and Jules and Alessa who was laughing hard.

My heart warmed at Blake's smile and then I knew what were these feelings.
