Chapter 43: New Day, New Olivia
Olivia’s POV
My pathetic reflection stared back at me through the mirror, judging me based on what I was wearing at how I looked. It was Monday morning and we had to go to Ms. Preciozo’s office to sign the contract. Honestly, if that wasn’t scheduled for that morning, I would have called in sick. But, since it was inevitable, I forced myself out of the bed and into clothes that described how I was feeling.
Over the weekend, I transformed from a sad, pathetic state into a f*ck it all, boss babe state. Don’t get me wrong, I was still sad and upset that I had screwed up my life and theirs, but I guess everyone eventually reached a point where they don’t have the energy to go on anymore. That was exactly where I was.
