Roxy’s POV

I sprawled out on Rosie’s bed, my legs stretching as far as they could reach, and my elbows digging into the soft duvet, excitement shooting from every pore on my skin. I was dying to tell her all about the car moment with Aaron and my passport but there she was flitting around her room, tossing clothes left and right like she was on some sort of mission.

“Woah, Rosaline Bennett, classic Tom boy in a dress, Where’s the fire?” I asked, one eyebrow raised.

She shot me a quick look, then went back to rummaging through her closet. “I have a date tonight.”

“Oh, please tell me it’s not Tommy,” I groaned, half-hoping she’d deny it.

Rosie froze, her hand gripping a hanger, before slowly turning to face me. She didn’t say anything, but the look she gave me said it all.

“So it is Tommy,” I sat up. What Rosie had with Tommy was that consuming, chaotic type of love story that had one person burning out and it was usually person who seemed to have most of their heart into it and sadly,

She had called him, I felt stupid for even remembering the name. He was leaning in close, his eyes devouring her. The thought of him touching her, undressing her, twisted something deep inside me. PROLOGUE Roxy’s POV “Does this make you uncomfortable, baby?" His voice is like smoke in my ear heating up my whole body. "No... Daddy, never with you." I say in a hush whisper and I feel his body tense against mine. “I like how you call me Daddy… and still make me feel like a boy around you. Restless. Impatient. Like I don’t know what to do with myself.” “I like how you call me baby,” I whisper, “and still make me feel like a woman. Desired. Dangerous.” “But I’m too old for you, baby…” Yet he’s already pulling me closer, mouth brushing the corner of mine, the tip of his nose trailing down my jaw before he buries it in my hair like he needs the scent to survive. My body trembles, a slow, tantalizing shiver rushing down my spine. I bite my lip, breathless. “You’re not too old. You’re just right. Right for me. Right now.” His hand moves, slow and possessive—fingertips gliding over my blouse until his thumb finds the sensitive peak of my nipple. He presses just enough for me to

  • Falling For My Billionaire Revenge Daddy   CHAPTER 2: Four Months Later (Where the trouble starts)

Roxy’s POV Four months ago, everything changed. It wasn’t the grief that broke me. It wasn’t even the nightmares, or the way I’d wake up gasping his name like I could pull him back from the dead. It was her. I used to wonder what she felt after it happened. Guilt? Remorse? Even a flicker of regret? But I was so stupidly, painfully wrong. Because one week after the hit-and-run, she was living her best life—unbothered, and unapologetic. She was going on an anniversary date! with her baby! And I? I was choking on grief, drowning in it. That was the moment something in me snapped. “So what’s your plan? Just walk in there and kill her?” Rosy, my younger sister, shot her eyes at me, her arms crossed over her chest. I was exploring clothes in my wardrobe, picking out the dress for my first day at the South Carli University. “Ofcourse not” I roughnecked her, “I am not a killer. I only plan on making her suffer….This or this…” I held up two gowns, a black A line gown and

  • Falling For My Billionaire Revenge Daddy   CHAPTER 3: My Pound Of Flesh

Roxy’s POV Panic. A state of uncontrolled fear, written all over Catherine Bennett’s face. It was familiar but still exhausting. “Explain it to me Roxy, why you would ditch your Stanford scholarship after a year and settle for Gould, I do not get it.” Catherine Bennett, my helicopter mother, screams at the top of her voice. I was actually scared she would snap a vein. Someone needs to avenge Lucas and it’s up to me. I didn’t say that out loud though. I said this instead. “Gould is not bad mom.” I cross one leg over the other and cross both arms over my chest, ready for her 360. “But it is not Stanford and you had a scholarship, how do you intend to pay for school, huh?” “I have some money saved up,” Over 5000 bucks from tutoring rich kids at Standford. Bunch of kids who had a lot of money and nothing subsubstantial to do with it. It’s not much but it’s a start. “And I plan on working….. and there are loans.” I say simply. “You hate working Roxy… you detest it. The only t

Roxy’s POV My face flourished with mild make up, pink blush and lipstick, my light Olive skin gleamed, all thanks to my newly acquired beauty products and my hair was gathered in a pineapple updo, with well laid edges and thanks to my curl-enhancing product, my curls were defined and voluminous dangling down my high ponytail. My revenge glam was activated. “Roxette Benette.” The clerk called and I rushed to her standing desk. I had been waiting for over thirty minutes, and I was starting to get hijacked by nerves. “Good day Ma’am” I rested my elbows on the desk, taking her face squarely. “You transferred from Stanford?” It sounded like both a question and a fact. She had only just let her head up the computer, with an astonished look. “Yes” I smile. “Why?” Her face wrinkled like a squeezed orange. She looked like she pitied me. My lips moved but I couldn’t find the words. Where is the lie, Roxy? Find it! “My uh…. father is dying, terminal disease.” I make a crying impression w

Roxy's POVThe campus buzzed with the energy of a new semester, students milling about with excitement and anticipation. I navigated through the crowd with a singular focus, my destination clear in my mind. Room 305. Constitutional Law. Professor Mclain.I had been preparing for this moment for months. Transferring to Gould was a milestone but it was necessary. If I didn’t avenge Lucas, no one else will. And he would have died for nothing. While his killer gets away with it. Lucas’s parents had taken his death in good faith but not I, Roxette Bennett. His killer would pay, in many ways than one.I slipped into the classroom early, choosing a seat in the second row, directly in front of the lectern. I wanted to be close enough to catch every word, every expression. Despite the chatter as the room started to clutter, my gaze remained fixed on the door as if I would miss the moment she walked in if I as much as shook. And then she walked in. When I saw her, my world stopped for about 2 s

Roxy’s POVHe took the file back, his eyes scanning over my signature before he closed it with a snap. Then, without missing a beat, he reached into his sleek leather briefcase and produced a crisp sheet of paper.“Here,” he said, his voice as smooth as the polished surface of his desk.I took the paper, and as my eyes landed on the amount printed on the cheque, they widened in shock. It was far beyond anything I had imagined. Before I could even formulate the burning question on my tongue, he spoke, his tone authoritative and assured. “That’s your first cheque.”“Cheque?” My brows knitted together. “What’s it for? I haven’t even done anything yet, Mr. West.”You will be getting paid for every extra hour you spend with me and every task you complete. Consider this an advance payment,” he said, leaning back in his chair, his gaze never leaving mine.“Mr. West, this is totally unnecessary,” I protested, though the temptation of that insane amount was undeniable. It could change everythi

  • Falling For My Billionaire Revenge Daddy   CHAPTER 39: Where Do I sign?

Roxy’s POVI was in the middle of work, buried in research, the last few days had been chaotic. Between school assignments and the firm, I barely had time to breathe, let alone eat. I hadn’t even seen Rosie in days, but thank God I had less than an hour left before I could get off work. My fingers danced across the keyboard, clicking furiously when my phone dinged, snapping me out of my trance.Shit! A message from Aaron’s number. His number was tattooed in my brain.**Meet me on the Tarmac now** The message said.Ever since that night with the coffee spill and my small black dress, it had been radio silence from his end, I hardly even got to see him at the firm, I would only catch a glimpse of him before he was gone again and now out of nowhere—a message. My nerves spiraled out of control. My eyes darted around the busy room, the strange sense of being watched—like a guilty child trying not to get caught. But wait, how did he get my number?— He’s your boss, Roxy. He must have looke

Roxy’s POV Rachael touched my hand gently. “If you ever need help, just ask.” Her sincere eyes made me want to pinch myself. “Thank you,” I replied, taking another drink to steady myself. I needed that drink more than I realized. “See? It’s not so bad,” Rachael encouraged with a wink. I forced a smile, but the drink slipped from my lips. Before I could reach for it, Nick’s thumb swooped in, brushing against my lips, wiping away the spill with a touch so tender it made my breath catch. That simple touch—why did it make my chest tighten like that? Rachael let out an exaggerated sigh. “That was so hot, Nick. Ask her out already!” “Rachael, stop it,” Alex teased. “What? They’re hot!” Rachael said unabashedly. Nick and I locked eyes, and the world around us seemed to disappear. The connection between us was undeniable, but my thoughts were tangled with revenge, Aaron, and the complications of my life. Why did this have to be so complicated? Why couldn’t it just be easy—for once? F

  • Falling For My Billionaire Revenge Daddy   CHAPTER 37: He Was Watching

Roxy’s POVWalking out of Aaron’s office, I could still feel his presence lingering—his scent, his intense gray eyes, and that commanding aura. Tonight, something was different; his eyes held a hint of vulnerability that was rare for him. I could almost believe there was a crack in his fortress of composure. Maybe it was the surprise or perhaps something deeper. I hoped it was more.I shook off the lingering effect of Aaron West as I stepped out into the evening air. There was Nick, leaning casually against his sleek black sports car. His dark hair was perfectly tousled, and he looked effortlessly handsome in dark jeans and a crisp white shirt. His intense gaze was locked on me, making me feel as if I were the only girl in the world.“What are you doing here, Nick?” I asked, trying to keep my voice steady as I walked toward him. His presence always stirred emotions I wasn’t ready to face.Nick’s lips curled into a half-smile, though his eyes revealed a hint of stress. “I finally stood

Where the hell was she?Since the day she first walked into my office, Roxette Bennett had been a puzzle. Some days, she looked like the most ordinary girl alive—tight pineapple ponytail, boring business clothes. But every now and then, she would walk in with her hair loose, a little cleavage peeking out, and suddenly it was like the whole room changed. It messed with me more than I wanted to admit. She was awkward. Nervous. But there was this sultry way she moved that didn’t match her shy eyes. I could still see it—how she fumbled with her pen, how she blushed when I leaned too close. She had a crush on me. That much was obvious. And I? I was supposed to find that shit annoying. I usually did.But not with her.Maybe because she was actually good at her job. Maybe because she cared about the SPECTR
