Gabriel’s POV

I cleared my throat, forcing myself to focus as I turned my attention to Nicole, who stood at the far end of my office.

"Welcome, Nicole. Have a seat." I gestured to the conference table.

She nodded and took a seat. My gaze immediately shifted to Clairessa.

"Clairessa," I called, my voice smooth, commanding. "After you."

She hesitated for just a second before stepping forward.

And that’s when my jaw clenched.

That damn dress. It clung to her ass—high, round, and perfect—making my fingers twitch with the urge to grab it, to caress and explore every inch.

But what really held my attention was the way her steps faltered, the way her thighs pressed together just a little too tightly—like she was fighting something.

Still fighting me.

"Sit beside me," I ordered, sinking into my seat at the head of the table, stretching out with effortless confidence.

Clairessa met my gaze with a faint smile, but I caught the hint of annoyance simmering in her eyes.

She was u

Clairessa’s POVI stormed out of Gabriel’s office, muttering curses under my breath. That insufferable, arrogant, exasperating man. My legs trembled, my core still throbbing from the torment he had put me through. Every inch of me was hypersensitive, burning with the cruel, lingering ache of his touch—or lack thereof. Damn him. How dare he leave me like that? How dare he play these wicked games with me and then walk off as if nothing had happened? I should have known his calm demeanor, his so-called forgiveness, was nothing but a carefully laid trap. I should have known he was planning something. He never let anything slip through his fingers. And now, he had me exactly where he wanted—hungry, desperate, aching. Argh! I hated him. Yet, I wanted him. There was no denying it. It was an intoxicating, maddening feeling—one that consumed me entirely. Taking a deep breath, I reached for the elevator button, eager to escape before I lost the last shred of contro

  • Falling For My Ex's Dad   Chapter 132: Making It Clear, No One Challenge Me

Gabriel’s POVClairessa’s message burned in my mind. I stared at my phone, barely registering the droning voice of Tesco, the CEO of Zenco, seated across the large conference table. His associates, lawyers, and executives were seated around him, their expressions a mix of forced attentiveness and boredom. He was attempting to renegotiate terms that were already set in stone, but my attention was elsewhere. My grip tightened around my phone, heat rising in my veins. She thought this was a game. She thought she could push me, test me, and get away with it. She had no idea who she was dealing with. "Mr. Storm?" Tesco's voice cut through my haze. I lifted my gaze, finally acknowledging the man sitting across from me. He offered a coy smile before continuing. "Mr. Storm, as I was saying, we believe the current valuation does not fully reflect the potential of our company, and we would like to revisit the—” He had been spewing the same nonsense for the past hour, trying to

Clairessa’s POV I let out a shaky breath, my lips curving into a smirk. "I thought you liked my games." Gabriel chuckled darkly, sending a shiver through me before he dipped his head to my neck. "You have no idea how much," he murmured against my skin, his tongue gliding over the sensitive spot just below my ear. A tremor ran through me, my body instinctively arching against him. His scent—rich, clean, woodsy—wrapped around me, making my head swim. "You smell so sweet," he breathed, his nose trailing along the curve of my throat, savoring me. "Do you know what that does to me?" "Tell me.” His tongue swiped along her cleavage, sending a jolt of heat straight through me. "It makes me want to devour you." A soft whimper escaped before I could stop it. Then—ding. The elevator doors slid open, shattering the moment and forcing him to pull away. I gasped softly, my lips tingling, my body aching from the sudden loss of contact. Still gripping my waist, he guided me

Clairessa’s POVGabriel lifted me off the floor, throwing me over his shoulder as if I weighed nothing. My legs dangled behind him, my palms pressing against his back in protest. “Gabriel! What are you doing?” I gasped, kicking slightly. "Granting you your wish," he purred. Then, without warning, he smacked my ass. A sudden sting shot through me as his palm connected with my bare skin. “Ouch,” I gasped, the unexpected heat spreading through the thin fabric of my dress, igniting something far more intense than pain. He carried me effortlessly across the room before lowering me onto his lap, my body draped over his legs. My face pressed into the soft bedding, my legs hanging off the edge—completely at his mercy. "Let's see what we have here," he murmured, his fingers trailing along the hem of my dress before slowly pushing it up. Cool air kissed my exposed skin, making me shiver in anticipation. I let out a soft breath as he slid my panties down my legs completely. I

Clairessa’s POVEmbarrassment washed over me like a tidal wave as the memory of my confession replayed in my mind.Fuck.I had just told Gabriel I loved him.A truth I hadn’t even admitted to myself yet. This was crazy. Impossible. It had to be the orgasm. The overwhelming pleasure. It wasn’t me—it was the moment, the passion, the intensity.Did he hear me? Did he remember?Oh God.What if he was just waiting for me to say it again, to confirm what my body had already betrayed? No. No way.I had to play it off. Act like it never happened.I snuck a glance at him, but the moment our eyes met, my stomach flipped. He was watching me, a smug expression tugging at his lips."What?" I blurted out, still shy and utterly mortified by what had just happened—or rather, by how I had completely lost control.Gabriel’s smirk widened. "Did you just admit you’re in love with me… mid-orgasm?”"I… no… I—" I stammered, panicking, my heart hammering against my ribs. Before I could form a proper defense,

Clairessa’s POV I woke up completely exhausted, my body sore but deliciously satisfied. My eyes snapped open, darting around the room as I tried to process everything. I shifted, pushing up onto my elbows, and spotted Gabriel sitting at the desk near the window, his attention locked on his laptop. He looked effortlessly handsome, his jaw tight with concentration as he typed. Then my gaze drifted to the giant clock hanging on the wall. 6:30. Shit. It all came rushing back. How did I let myself sleep this late? Panic surged through me. "Gabriel…" My voice was hoarse, my throat dry from sleep. At the sound of my voice, Gabriel's head snapped up, his eyes locking onto mine. He was on his feet in seconds, striding toward me. Concern flickered in his expression as he sat beside me. "What is it?" he asked, his voice edged with worry. "Oh my God…" I gasped, jerking upright as panic took hold. "You didn’t wake me—shit! I overslept!" Relief softened his face as he real

Clairessa’s POV"I could get used to this…" I said, sipping my coffee as I watched Gabriel move around the kitchen with practiced ease. He was shirtless, wearing just a low hang of his sweatpants, revealing just enough to make my mouth go dry. It was a sight to behold—Gabriel Storm, billionaire CEO, standing barefoot in his kitchen, flipping pancakes like a man who had nowhere else to be but here, with me. He turned his attention away from the pan, dark eyes locking onto mine. "Used to what?" I grinned, setting my cup down. "Used to you cooking for me. Spoiling me. Making me breakfast every morning like a perfect, doting man." He chuckled, leaning against the counter, folding his arms. "I love to please you," he drawled. "As I’ve demonstrated many times. So, by all means.”Heat spread through my skin as memories of last night flooded my mind—his hands, his mouth, the way he tasted and explored every inch of me, giving me mind-blowing orgasms over and over again. Clairessa’s POV Adrian’s timing was absolute shit. Fucking jerk. He just couldn’t let me breathe, could he? Of course not. He wanted to ruin me. The only reason I unblocked his number was because he threatened me… Shit. I should’ve blocked him before coming to Gabriel. But I didn’t, because after our last conversation, he never even crossed my mind again. And of all the damn times to call— It had to be now. Right when I was with Gabriel. And the bloody phone wouldn’t stop ringing. Adrian was an asshole who refused to understand that we were done. And now Gabriel was on the verge of finding out. His words echoed in my head, sending a wave of fear rippling through me. "I’ll take care of him—make sure he learns never to mess with what’s mine."What did that even mean? Take care of him? As in… talk to him? Threaten him? Worse? I panicked, shifting in my seat. Gabriel talking to Adrian was a disaster waiting to happen—everything I’d been trying to avoid. Hell n

Gabriel’s POV Clairessa didn’t look at me. Not once. I ended the call mid-sentence. Whatever deal it was could wait. I couldn’t focus anyway. My hand dropped to my side as I watched her climb the stairs like she was dragging the weight of the world behind her. Her shoulders were hunched, arms wrapped tight around those shopping bags like they were the only things keeping her together. The way her foot dragged on the top step made my chest twist. I’d seen her bruised before—but not like this. This was devastation. And her eyes… I didn’t need a clear view to know they were red and swollen. She’d been crying. Dammit. Watching her like that—broken—and not being able to go to her, to comfort her… it tore at me. The front door closed with a soft thud, pulling my attention back. Adrian stepped in, locking it behind him. His face was pale, hair tousled like he’d been dragging his fingers through it for hours. “Dad…” I didn’t answer right away. Couldn’t. My eyes stayed on the sta

Clairessa’s POVAdrian's hands shot out, steadying me before I could stumble back. “Whoa—where are you dashing off to?” he asked, eyes searching mine.I opened my mouth, but no words came. My throat closed around them. “I—I just…” I stuttered, glancing away.“What’s wrong?” he asked, voice softer now. “Talk to me.”I tried to pull away, but his grip on my hand tightened—not enough to hurt, just enough to hold me there.“Nothing. I just need to be alone,” I muttered, trying again to slip free.“No, you don’t.” His voice was firmer this time. “You don’t need to be alone right now. Something happened. I can see it all over your face. Please, talk to me.”The kindness in his voice made something in me crack. But I couldn’t tell him the truth—where I was going, what had just happened. And I knew if I said too much, he’d want to follow.“I just…” I exhaled shakily. “I need to go back to my apartment. I want to see what’s left. What I can salvage.”Adrian’s expression darkened with concern,

Clairessa’s POVI stared at Gabriel in disbelief, a knot tightening in my stomach as I waited for the rest of the sentence—like it was some kind of sick joke and any second now, he’d laugh and take it back. But he didn’t laugh. He didn’t even blink. He was serious. Stone cold. What the hell did he mean—help Adrian grow up? Keep him focused? Become the woman who inspires him to be a better man? What the actual hell? Was I supposed to play life coach now? Or worse... a supportive girlfriend?“Gabriel, this isn’t going to work. Can’t you see that? Not after everything that’s happened between us. And I thought you were a man who prided himself on honesty. Now you want me to lie to your son?”He stepped closer, closing the space between us until I could feel the heat rolling off him—familiar and maddening. I instinctively moved back, but it wasn’t enough. His breath brushed my cheek as he spoke.“I’m not asking you to lie,” he murmured, voice low and dark. “I’m asking you to keep pretendin

  • Falling For My Ex's Dad   Chapter 178: My Secret And My Mistake

Clairessa POVThe day had finally gone by faster than I expected. Adrian had settled into his downstairs room—claiming it was more convenient, already filled with his things—while I was placed upstairs. It felt like life was playing another sick, twisted game on me, because he’d placed me in the room closest to Gabriel’s. He even joked about it—said maybe his dad would finally warm up to me, get to know me… even like me. What he didn’t know was that I already knew Gabriel. Intimately. He was my secret. My mistake. My obsession. The man I had once given everything to—and the one I still wasn’t over. And I knew this house—every hallway, every door, every room. So when I left my room and wandered to Gabriel’s door, I told myself it was just to say thank you—for letting me stay until I figured things out, for not turning me away. But a voice in my head warned me to go back. That nothing good would come from this. Still, I didn’t stop. His door was ajar. I didn’t knock—

  • Falling For My Ex's Dad   Chapter 177: Thirty Days, That's All She Gets

Gabriel’s POVI looked at Adrian—and for the first time, I saw something different. Adrian wasn’t fighting. He wasn’t bluffing. He was broken.Humbled.He wanted to make things right. And in that moment, I knew—if I said no, I might lose him for good. This wasn’t just about Clairessa anymore. It was about righting something that clearly mattered to him. And he needed me—not as a boss, but as a father—to back him up.Fuck.“Fine,” I bit out. “She can stay. But not more than a month.”Relief washed over his face, lighting him up like the boy I hadn’t seen in years.“Thanks, Dad,” he breathed, pulling me into a quick, tight hug.I stood stiff for a moment, then patted his back, still not used to these moments. As he pulled away and walked out, I turned back toward the window. At least I had one consolation: Adrian’s vulnerability had given me leverage. Now he’d listen. Now he’d obey. This was my chance to mold him—straighten him out, finally turn him into the man I knew he could become.

  • Falling For My Ex's Dad   Chapter 176: We Are Both In Love With The Same Woman

Gabriel’s POV I paced the room, anger and heartbreak twisting so violently inside me I thought they’d tear me in two. My fists clenched and unclenched at my sides as I stared out the window into the night sky—the only thing that made any sense in this goddamn chaos. Then I heard the door push open behind me. Adrian stepped in, shutting it with a firm click. “Dad,” he said, frustration clear in his voice, “why did you react that way? You just walked out of dinner because I asked you to let Clairessa stay? I don’t get it. What’s so hard about that?” “Adrian, not now,” I muttered, my voice low. “We’ll talk later.” But he didn’t back off. “Why not now?” he pressed, stepping closer. “Why can’t we talk about it now? What is it? What do you have against Clairessa? It feels like you don’t like her—you’ve never liked her, not from the first time you saw her. What is it? Is there something you know that I don’t?” I didn’t want to do this. Not now. Not while my mind was still spinning… n

Gabriel’s POVI sat at the dining table, seething, the rage in me growing hotter every goddamn second.Across the table, Adrian and Clairessa sat so close their arms brushed. He leaned in, whispering something in her ear. She smiled—smiled like she loved whatever nonsense he was feeding her.My blood burned. Her eyes met mine once. Just once. Then she looked away like I didn’t exist. Like I hadn’t given her twenty-four hours to tell him the truth. And judging by the way he looked at her—like she was some innocent angel who saved his life—she hadn’t said a word.It was more than obvious she hadn’t told him a damn thing. She was still pretending. Same as always. But she had no idea what hell I’d unleash if she kept this up.God… I was going to—I couldn’t even say it.Couldn’t bring myself to hate her, no matter how much I wanted to.Especially not when she was sitting beside my son, touching him, smiling for him—and jealousy slammed into me like a punch to the ribs.Shit. So you were with someone while we were apart. If I’m being honest, I kinda suspected it… based on how quickly you seemed ready to move on from us.”He gave a short, shaky breath. “If that’s what this big talk is about, then… Clairessa, that’s not a crime. We weren’t together. You don’t have to beat yourself up over that. We can move on from it.”“Not when you find out who it was…”Adrian shifted and reached for my hands. “Claire, listen. I don’t need to know who the guy is. It doesn’t matter.”I stared at him, my throat tightening. “You don’t understand—”“Shhh…” Adrian hushed me gently, pressing two fingers to my lips. “I understand what you’re going through. • Falling For My Ex's Dad   Chapter 173: His Anger Burned Hotter

Clairessa’s POV Gabriel didn’t look at me at first. His eyes stayed fixed on Gretchen, his tone calm but laced with a quiet threat. "Leave us," he said. Gretchen froze for a breath, clearly uneasy. "Of course, Mr. Storm." She slipped out without another word. And then it was just us—Gabriel and me. I barely had time to register the storm in his eyes before he crossed the room in three long strides and seized my elbow—not painfully, but firmly enough to jolt my heart. "Don’t get too comfortable in my house," he hissed. "You won’t be here much longer." I stared at him, stunned. Just yesterday, he’d been at my side, placing cold towels on my forehead, watching over me like I still meant something to him. He’d cared for me, staying by my side through the night. And for a moment, I let myself believe—maybe something in him had softened. Maybe there was still hope for us. But I was wrong. The anger was back—hotter, more intense. And I was foolish to think forgiveness would co
