Gabriel’s POV

I was seething. Every word out of his mouth intensified my anger. I wanted to wring the truth out of him, but before I could, Nicole slid herself right into the center of it all.

“I don’t mean to intrude on your little family drama,” she began lightly, “but if this is about those headlines? About Clairessa?”

She let out a delighted laugh.

“I’d say it’s a good thing the world finally found out who she really is.”

Her eyes pinned me. “Mr. Storm, you’re the only one left who needs to come to terms with it.”

My blood burned, but I held my fury. She wasn’t worth it. This was between Adrian and me. Still, I caught the gleam in her eyes, she was enjoying this.

Adrian turned to her, suspicion darkening his face. “Nicole… did you do this?”

For a second, her smile faded. Then, a shrug. “Maybe. Someone had to. Baby, you can’t blame me. This was for your own good. You were too weak to defend yourself, so I stepped in. I saved you from humiliation. You should be thanking me for havin

  • Falling For My Ex's Dad   Chapter 287: The Monster Has Returned

Clairessa’s POVI leaned against the vanity, the marble cool against my palms. My reflection glowed softly back at me, hair smooth and full from the curls I’d brushed out, lips shining with gloss, eyes still bright from the warmth of dinner. I couldn’t stop the little smile tugging at my mouth. Dinner had been perfect. For the first time in so long, I’d felt like I was on top of the world.I ran my fingers through my hair, though it didn’t need fixing. Truth was, I was wasting time, letting him wait, taunting him. And if I admitted it to myself, another part of me wanted to see if he would actually come for me. My phone glowed faintly as I scrolled through it, killing minutes I didn’t need to waste, heart beating with that strange mix of playfulness and anticipation. Then the restroom door pushed open.I didn’t glance up immediately. My lips curved as I whispered, almost teasing, “Took you long enough…”But the voice that came wasn’t his. It was croaky, and it crawled straight under

  • Falling For My Ex's Dad   Chapter 286: Ravenous Hunger

Clairessa’s POVThe slender blonde-haired hostess led us through the dimly lit restaurant, soft light glinting off the table. Gabriel walked ahead, his hand resting lightly on the small of my back, his presence commanding even in such an elegant space. She guided us to the main table, set beautifully with flashing candles, crystal glasses, and little petals of red roses scattered across the white linen. When we reached it, he smoothly drew out my chair, waiting until I sank into it before taking his place across from me.I let my eyes take in the scene, my voice in awe. “This… this is beautiful.”His lips curved into that arrogant, irresistible way that was so purely him.“You deserve only the best,” he said, his tone equal parts sweet and maddeningly confident. He leaned back slightly, eyes holding mine with that pure heat. “I’m a man who can give you more than flowers and candlelight… I can give you everything you’ll ever need, and more,” he added, his words washing over me like a p

  • Falling For My Ex's Dad   Chapter 285: Make Him Groan My Name

Clairessa’s POVThe leather of the SUV felt cool against my skin as Gabriel slid in beside me, shutting the door. The city lights spilled through the tinted glass, flashing across his face, catching the defined cut of his cheekbones, the heat burning hotter in his hands. His hand didn’t waste a second before finding mine, his thumb brushing over my knuckles before tugging me closer, the space between us collapsing until his thigh pressed firmly against mine. Then his palm drifted lower, brushing tenderly over my knee, his fingers trailing the line of bare skin revealed by the slit in my dress.“You know…” he began. He nudged the fabric aside until his touch grazed the softer skin of my inner thigh. The caress was tender and passionate at the same time.“These sexy, slender legs,” he murmured, his breath warm against my temple, “the same legs that wrapped around me, digging into my back while you screamed my name in ecstasy, belong to me. And only me. No one else gets to see this.”A t

  • Falling For My Ex's Dad   Chapter 284: Dangerous Angel

Clairessa’s POVI lifted the bouquet closer, breathing in the soft perfume of the roses before setting them carefully on the dresser beneath the mirror. Tucked between the folds was a cream envelope, waiting to be opened.I traced the border with my fingertip, savoring the anticipation before sliding it open.To the most captivating woman in the world… the one who has stolen my heart completely and left me irreversibly ruined by her. Dinner tonight. A driver will come for you. Wear something that will make me forget how to breathe.Gabriel StormI read it aloud under my breath, the words tugging a blush to my cheeks. After all these months, he could still make me feel like a girl with a secret crush. Gabriel never needed flowery speeches to undo me, but when he chose to, he left me completely defenseless.I knew why he had arranged this. A night to breathe and spend time together without feeling as if we were carrying the world on our shoulders. To forget the messy headlines Nicole ha

  • Falling For My Ex's Dad   Chapter 283: Fight This Through

Clairessa’s POV Gabriel’s frown deepened. “Out?” He stopped in front of me, eyes searching mine. I lifted my chin, deflecting. “I wasn’t expecting you home at this time.” “I was worried about you,” he admitted, leaning close enough that I caught the faint scent of his cologne. “I went to your office. They told me you left early... that you went to the hospital.” He paused, eyes narrowing as though he feared the worst. “I called your number. It was switched off.” Right. My phone. My hand brushed my pocket, where my phone still was. “Oh... yeah. I turned it off. Remember when you told me to stay off social media? It’s been easier just keeping it off.” His eyes blinked, like he partly believed me, partly didn’t. “I thought as much.” Then his brows creased again. “But the hospital, Clairessa. Are you okay? What happened?” The truth sat heavy on my tongue. Gabriel... we’re having a baby. The doctor said our baby is doing fine. But I pushed it back down. Not yet. I reached up inst

  • Falling For My Ex's Dad   Chapter 281: Am I Being Followed

Clairessa’s POVI held the ultrasound paper to my chest, one hand resting protectively on my stomach as I walked down the hospital hallway.Relief spread through me, the doctor’s words still ringing in my ears, the baby is healthy, everything looks perfect.Thank God.For the first time in days, I let myself breathe. My baby was doing great. Our baby, I corrected silently. No matter how much I feared Gabriel’s reaction, this life didn’t just belong to me anymore. It was his too.And after hearing that strong heartbeat and watching the tiny form displayed across the screen, it felt more real than ever.I didn’t know how much longer I could keep this to myself, dragging it out, carrying this secret alone when every part of me wanted to run to him and share the news. But then the fear always pulled me back. The timing. Adrian felt betrayed. The drama swallowed us whole. I didn’t want to be selfish and drop this miracle in the middle of Gabriel’s fallout with his son because of me, even t
