He had just arrive town today and he insisted on me coming to pick him up at the airport.

“You have a babe, you should just have called her,” I added in a murmur, passing him a side glance as I simultaneously tried to keep my eyes on the road.

“After everything you’ve done to me, picking me up should be the least you can do for me,” he replied dramatically and I rolled my eyes.
