Agatha’s POV
The moment I stepped through the college gates, everything around me felt dull. The sky looked grey, even though the sun was shining. The students around me laughed and rushed to their classes, but it all sounded far away. All I could hear was the same thought, again and again: He got engaged to Lya… and I didn’t even see it coming. One week ago, he was just ignoring my texts. Now he’s someone else’s future Alpha. A part of me still couldn’t believe it. Another part was already planning how to destroy it. It’s not over. Not yet. With Fenrik’s help, I knew I could stop that wedding. I didn’t care if the whole pack thought I was crazy. I would do anything—anything—to make Rhunar see that I was the one. Not just a friend. Not just some weak omega. I tightened my grip on my books and picked up my pace. Today was exam day. I had to focus. As I reached the classroom door, my heart was already pounding. Not from nerves, but because I was two minutes late. Just two. Please let them be lenient this time. I reached for the door handle. “Miss Morrow,” a voice stopped me cold. “You’re late.” I turned around slowly. The one teacher in the entire school who seemed to have something personal against me. He stood there with his usual judging stare, glasses low on his nose, arms folded like he was waiting to ruin my day. “I’m only two minutes late, Professor,” I said gently. “Please let me in. I’m ready for the exam.” He raised an eyebrow. “Two minutes late is still late. Just because you hang around the Alpha’s family doesn’t mean you are one of them. Now turn around and go home.” I froze. My stomach twisted. “Sir, please. This exam is important. I need it to move to the next semester.” He shook his head. “Rules are rules. Leave.” I looked past him. Some students were too busy with their exam to care. Others just watched. Some whispered. Just then, another student came rushing down the hall—ten minutes late—and handed him a note. He nodded and let her inside like it was nothing. I blinked. “Seriously?” I said, louder than I meant to. “You just let her in!” Professor Dale turned back to me with a sneer. He stepped closer, lowering his voice so no one else could hear. “Do you know why I don’t waste time on you, Miss Morrow? Because you’re weak. You can’t even shift. You’re just a useless omega clinging to people above your class. Let me give you some advice—go be a maid, like your mother was. That’s the only future your kind gets in this pack.” His words hit like ice. They burned deeper than anything I’d ever heard. I couldn’t breathe. Couldn’t blink. I didn’t cry, not this time, but the ache inside my chest spread like fire. I forced myself to speak. “Everyone in this pack deserves an education. Even omegas.” He laughed. “Education? What job do you think you’ll get, omega? You’re the weakest I’ve ever seen. Even humans are stronger.” I opened my mouth to say something—but then I heard a voice behind me. Smooth, calm, dangerous. “Really, is that how you talk to your students, Professor?” The voice came from the back of the hallway, calm but strong, and unmistakably familiar. I turned my head slowly, and there he was. Fenrik Vale. Leaning against the doorframe like he owned the place, arms crossed over his chest, one brow slightly raised, and a look in his eyes that made everyone go silent. Professor Dale stiffened. “Mr. Vale. What are you doing here?” Fenrik stepped forward, his boots echoing on the tile floor. “I came to drop something off, but instead, I found a professor tearing down a student. Now, that doesn’t sound like the pack’s proud college, does it?” The class grew quiet. All eyes were on us now. No one dared to move. Even the girl who had walked in late without being stopped looked down at her desk. “This is none of your business, Mr. Vale,” Professor Dale said sharply, though his voice wasn’t as firm as before. “Oh, I think it is,” Fenrik said. “Because the last time I checked, education was for everyone in this pack. And unless the rules have changed, I don’t remember a law that says omegas should be denied an exam because of their status.” Professor Dale adjusted his glasses. “She was late. Rules are rules.” “Then why did you let the other girl in?” Fenrik asked simply. Silence. I stood there, still frozen, My chest was tight. My fingers numb. “I think you owe Agatha an apology,” Fenrik said quietly, his tone now calm but deadly serious. The professor's face turned red, but he didn’t speak. “I said,” Fenrik repeated, “apologize.” Professor Dale looked at me like I was dirt under his shoe. “Apologies, Mrs Morrow” he mumbled through clenched teeth. Fenrik turned to me. “Go write your exam, omega.” The way he said it made the word “omega” feel like a crown instead of a curse. I blinked. “Thank you,” I whispered, then walked past the professor and into the classroom, ignoring the whispers, ignoring the stares. I sat down at the last empty desk. As I wrote my paper, my hands still slightly trembling, my heart beat for something else entirely. Not Rhunar. Not for once. But for the boy who called me “omega” Everyone calls me omega but when Fenrik calls me it feels different.Agatha’s POVI let out a long breath as I wrote the last answer on my paper. My fingers hurt because I had been writing too fast. But thank Goodness, I finished just in time. For once, nothing went wrong—no fainting, no wolf fights, and no drama.Well… except for one thing.Professor Dale had been staring at me the whole time like he wanted to burn a hole through my paper. His eyes felt heavy on me, like a bird watching its food. It made me very uncomfortable.I got up slowly, holding my answer sheet like it was something precious, and walked to his desk. He didn’t look at me at first. His red pen was busy moving on another student’s paper. But I could feel it coming. That moment.“You know,” he said quietly, still not looking at me, “having both Alpha brothers hanging around you doesn’t change your level.”There it was.He finally looked up at me. His eyes were cold. Not curious—just full of judgment.“You’re still just an omega, Miss Morrow,” he said in a low, sharp voice. “First, y

Third Person POV “The wind is blowing in my mind, something tells me I might die... hmm hmm…” Fenrik sang loudly, his fingers tapping the steering wheel to the beat. His voice filled the car like it was a concert hall. Agatha sat beside him, eyes squinting at her book, trying to read the same sentence for the third time. Her jaw clenched. “Seriously, Fenrik. Will you keep it down?” she said, not even looking up from her notes. “No, omega,” he said with a grin. “My car, my rules. And this—this is my favorite song. You gotta let it flow through your soul.” He kept humming even louder, clearly enjoying himself. Agatha sighed deeply. “Do you even realize how uncomfortable I am right now? I have an exam in less than twenty minutes, and here you are—driving like we’ve got all day, blasting this… emotional disaster of a song.” Fenrik raised an eyebrow. “Emotional disaster?” he asked with mock offense. “You clearly have no taste.” “Fenrik Vale, stop this childish behavior!” she snappe
Fenrik’s POV “How dare you, Rhunar Vale! You didn’t even tell me you were getting engaged!” Agatha’s voice cut through the afternoon like thunder as she stormed into Rhunar’s car workshop. I stood by the door, leaning against the frame with my arms crossed. Yeah… I was going to watch this drama unfold. Rhunar slid out from under a car, grease on his hands, a spanner in his grip. He didn’t look surprised. Just tired. “What are you doing here, Agatha?” he asked, his voice flat. “You didn’t come to see me at the hospital,” she said, stepping closer, her voice shaking. “You didn’t visit. You didn’t reply to a single message. I had to find out from someone else—that you’re engaged to Lya.” He wiped his hands slowly with a cloth but said nothing. Just stood there, watching her like she was a stranger. “I was busy,” he said simply. Agatha’s face crumpled. “Busy?” she repeated. “With what? I’m your best friend, Rhunar! I didn’t expect this from you. I didn’t expect you to be… such a
Agatha’s POVThank goodness he didn’t accept my mom’s offer. Fenrik and his annoying behavior... always popping up where I don’t need him.Why is he here, anyway? It should be Rhunar taking care of me. He’s the one who’s supposed to protect me. But instead, he’s off… with his in-laws.Ugh. Did I really just think that? No. No way. Lya is not taking Rhunar from me.He’s mine.My destined mate. My forever mate. The Moon Goddess doesn’t make mistakes. She chose us to be together. That should mean something… right? If only Rhunar had accepted the bond. If he saw me as more than just a friend, none of this would’ve happened. I wouldn’t be stuck in this mess, I wouldn’t have kissed Fenrik, and there wouldn’t have been a fight at Lya’s birthday.“Honey, do you want me to help you up to your room?” my mom’s voice cut through my thoughts.“Yes, mom,” I said quietly, letting her offer her hand as we slowly made our way up the stairs.“Poor Fenrik,” she said, her tone soft. “I wonder how he’s
Fenrik’s POV“She’s not my boyfriend.”She said it fast—without even thinking. Like it didn’t mean anything. But to me… it did.I stayed quiet, letting the words settle in the air between us. My jaw tightened, but I didn’t let it show too much. I just looked away, pretending her words didn’t hit the one place I was trying to hide—my heart.Of course, I should’ve known. I wasn’t hers. Not yet. But damn, how I wished she was mine. I’d give anything just to hear her say my name like it meant something more.I remembered that kiss—not the one at the party, but the first one. It wasn’t soft or sweet. It was rushed. I was leaving town, and I kissed her hard, told her I’d be back, and made sure that kiss stayed in her memory. Then last night… she kissed me.Even if it was fake for her…It wasn’t fake for me.Not even close.I wanted more. But of course, my sweet little jealous brother had to ruin it.The nurse came back, checking Agatha’s vitals with her usual cheer. “Looks like you’ll be go
