I heard knocking on my room's door. It must be Father, he wasn't tired enough to just keep abusing me for the night. I guess he wasn't satisfied with my pain.
I rise from bed to go and see what father wants from me? As I opened the door, I saw Caden standing outside of my room's door, looking worried. It is almost midnight. He shouldn't be walking around at this time of the night. If the father sees him, he will be furious with him.
" Caden, what's the matter? Why aren't you in your bed?" I asked him.
" A-Aisling… Aisling…I-I…need." He stops and I place my hand over his shoulder.
" What's it? Tell me, Caden, I am not going to tell father." I reassured him.
" Cassy… She…" He mummer.
" What happened to Cassy? Tell me, you don't need to be scared if you are not going to tell me how I am supposed to help you?" I asked him a second time, sweats broke down on his forehead and his face was turning pale.
" Cassy wasn't at home." He finally blurted out. I don't understand what he means by Cassy being not at home. I just checked up on her two hours ago. She was doing her homework.
" What do you mean?" I asked him.
" Um…don't get mad at me but Cassy asked me not to tell you she went to Crystal's house to take some notes from her. She promised me she'd be back in half an hour but…" he pauses and all the negative things that could happen to her come to my mind, making me extremely distressed.
" But? What? Speak up Caden! Did she come back home?" I asked him in a demanding tone.
" Um…No, she didn't come back and she wasn't answering my phone calls. Oh, Aisling Father is going to kill me if he knows I helped her to get out of the house."
Cassy, my 17-year-old younger sister. Recently, she has been acting crazy. I don't understand what happened to her lately? She wasn't like she was caring and loving Delta once, but she turned into the most smart and manipulative wolf in the pack. She knew how to trick others to get what she wanted. At a very young age, she became untamed and rebellious. Lately, she has been doing a lot of partying and not focusing on her school. She becomes just a feral cat who makes Caden and I in trouble. I don't know who is influencing her to become like this, but if I find this person who's behind, I will make him pay for making our life hell.Caden is innocent as a newborn. He doesn't face this cruel world yet. My poor brother always finds something good in everything and they take advantage of it, but no the less, I will not let him be punished for his innocence, but the question is how will I do that? Where can I find Cassy? Crystal must know that.
" Don't be afraid, Caden. I will find Cassy before father finds out she wasn't at home." I reassured him.
" But how? Aisling didn't even answer my calls. How were you supposed to find her?" He asked me, concerned.
" Don't worry about that. You just stay in her bedroom. I'll bring her back."
" I am not staying here. I will go with you because I'm the reason for this. If I don't let her go she'll never do that to us."
Caden starts to blame himself, but I know it wasn't his fault. Cassy is the one to blame for it. Caden has a fragile heart and Cassy has become quite the opposite. Can you believe they are twins?
" No, Caden, one of us has to stay to keep an eye on our father. And to alert the other one. You have to trust me I will bring her back and no one will know." I cupped his face in my palms, making him look in my eyes for assertion. He finally agreed and climbed upstairs to Cassy's bedroom.
I, on the other hand, returned to my room and began stacking up some pillows on the bed to make it look like I was sleeping. If father ever comes to check up on me, find me in bed. Next, I get the mobile phone from the bedside and the car keys. I open the side window of my room carefully and pass one leg before another through the other side.
I used this window to sneak out at night every time father and I had an argument or disagreement on something and, as for my punishment, my father used to keep me locked in the room. So, I used to go out whenever I felt depressed.
Once, I made it out of the room. I attentively walked in front of the house. And I see my Volkswagen parked in the driveway. I moved straight towards the wagon and quickly unlocked the driver's seat door. I am praying to God that my father falls asleep.I jumped on the seat, starting up the wagon. I received a text from Caden. My heart nearly drops to my stomach. A wave of fear came over me.
I immediately retrieved the mobile from the dashboard and opened the text.
" Aisling, where are you?" the text reads.
" I'm outside of home. What happens? Did father find out about Cassy?" I replied with shaky fingers. Another text from him pops up on the screen. I clicked the text to read.
" No, father is sleeping in the living room. Don't worry about him, just find Cassy." I sighed in relief and placed the phone back on the dashboard and reversed the vehicle, without even thinking I hit the gas pedal, speeding the wagon. I maneuvered it and took sharp turns towards Crystal's house. My mobile screen lit up again. Taking my mobile again, I saw a text from an unknown number. I opened the message on my cell phone.
My eyes bulged out of their sockets when I read the text. My blood boils in furry and the only word left in my mouth is…
" Valentina Salvador fuck you!"
Valentina sent me a video attachment and in that video Cassy was partying and drinking at Valentina's mansion along with the wolves of the Winter Moon pack. Alongside a message.
" Cassy is the life of the party."
Valentina ~
Valentina is the bitch who is manipulating my sister to take vengeance on me. I would not let this happen to me or Cassy. I pulled the brakes and took a U-turn to drive towards Valentina's house in the centre of the town, which is 20 minutes' drive away from my home.
When I reached the outside of her Mansion, I pulled the wagon over to the side of the road.
As I hopped out of the wagon, I took a sign and made my way straight to the front gate and everything looked the same and it felt like ages since I last visited this place. I took a sorn to not step again here but yet, I find myself again on Valentina's doors.
As I stepped into the golden gates of the property, I was instantly greeted by the sight of a giant 50-foot building lying in front of an enormous lake. As I approach the lake, I can see the water move gracefully with the warm spring wind. Once I approach the edge of the lake, I look to the right side of myself, seeing a massive field of roses and many rare flowers. I felt nostalgic and all the good memories from the past came rushing into my head. A smile spread on my face, but soon, the smile faded away because those memories were meaningless for us.
As I approached the building, I found a few male and female wolves, mostly from our pack, in the front yard and wondered why everyone had gathered at Valentina's mansion? I guess the only way to find out is to go inside, ignoring the bitter stares of the people around. I know, no one is expecting to see me here, but I am not thrilled to be here.
I pulled my hood over my head to avoid people staring. As I stepped through the double door of the house, I was blasted by the music coming from the main living room. I spun in the direction of the living room and, as I entered, the red and green lights were moving vividly. The smell of urine, marijuana, and beer pierced through my nostrils like a sword. I saw some familiar faces among the crowd from my college and some of them were strangers. They were drinking, dancing to the loud music.
A girl came running up to me and tried talking over the booming speakers that were next to us. "You want one?" I looked to see what she was pointing at and noticed the crystal bottle in her hand, the bubbly gold liquid was swaying inside the bottle as she moved from side to side. At that moment, I felt like I wasn’t there anymore, and I felt like I was in the living room with my father. The loud booming music interrupted my thoughts, so I pushed that thought out of my head and I politely rejected the offer, but before the girl left, I stopped her by asking…
" Have you seen Valentina?"
" Um… Yeah, I think I saw her going upstairs." She replied.
I thanked her and proceeded towards the double staircase, making my way out of the crowd. I was trapped on the stairs and my heart was beating impossibly fast. Don't know why? But my premonition hit me. With heavy legs, I climbed the last step.
I looked to my right side, remembering that Valentina and I used to play in this hallway when we were pups. A lot of things have changed since then in this house and the people who live in it. I exhaled and advanced into the hallway to find Valentina. As I was passing by a room door a sudden scent clouded my nose…Lilac. I stopped from my track and turned my attention towards it.
I moved closer to it and saw the door creak open and curiosity took the worst out of me. As I decided to look inside… My eyes led on… Him… A stranger or a beast.
He used his hands to hold her head, moving it with deliberate but tempered force— far more than a suggestion— from a spot on his neck to his chest to himself. He kept his hands pressed firmly to her ears, then played with strands of her hair. He moved her head away from him so that he could feel her breasts there, between her breasts, and he pressed them close around him to him. It was weird having them pushed into her face, pushed against her, as casually as if it were a finger. He was so sure of himself. So cock-centred, when it was locked between her breasts. When he was inside of her later, she felt the same taut, sure strength in his hips as they pressed into her, forcing her to press back. With his hips, he pulled her along to the edge of sensation and then let her pull back ever so gently, and back and forth and back. Then, he drove his tongue inside her, setting off another shattering moan that was music to his ears. She was quite an instrument to play, so finely tuned, and i
For a moment, it seemed as if he was going to lose his temper too. His strange, pale eyes all but glared at me. But he controlled himself and I was surprised to see why he didn't want to kill me or do anything. Or I am just blind who can't see his reality. The people around him pushed him back, vanishing him out of my sight. I swallowed a big lump in my throat. As the people around us gathered to hear my misery, I decided not to give them anything to talk about." Valentina, just stay away from my family and this is the last time I am telling you." I said in rage after seeing Cassy like that." I can't do any damage to my family anymore.I turned my back against her and held Cassy's hand and I dragged her out of the main party and I still can't say she is the same girl that I met in first grade. She was rude and mean from the very start, but not with me. But she chose to be all those. that, I held our friendship close to my heart. I hate her. Her malice turned our friendship into a leec
"Ahhh! SON OF A BITCH! I screamed in pain and I felt inmes pain in my left knee and it was getting worse and worse. Just when I thought things couldn't get worse than they already have, this happened! Ahh...How unlucky I am that this should happen to me. But not at all. Perhaps, say how lucky I am that I am not broken by what has happened, and I am not afraid of what is about to happen. Because the same blow might have stricken anyone, but not many would have absorbed it without capitulation and complaint. I am just used to this.I struggled to stand on my feet and, after a few failed attempts, to get up. I literally gave up because I had no energy left to move an inch further and that's when I began dragging my lower half on the ground using my arms to the nearest tree. I was humping and my knees and elbows were all bruised.Once, I reached the nearest tree. I pulled myself half up and rolled myself on my back and sat down, using the support of the tree.My left leg felt wet so I ro
The Next DayI open my eyes to a room that does not belong to me. Sitting up, I looked around at my surroundings; there was one huge window, across from me, a four-poster bed, in which I was asleep and a seating area in the corner that was contemporary in style and non-threatening. In this kind of situation, most would think waking up in a strange place is something to be worried about, but I feel that I have crossed every limit of fear. I’m more confused by how I got here in the first place. The only light in the room seems to be both natural and artificial. I couldn’t tell if it was morning or afternoon but the light was a mixture of the sun and the outside. The light wasn’t the thing that woke me though; it was a deep foreign voice calling an ancient hymn. I place my legs off the bed and on the cold tiled floor. All of a sudden, a realization hits me like a bullet when I see my bandaged knee and I remember the fragment from last night. " Last night, I went to Valentina's house to
Thankfully, I found his pulse and he was breathing and was alive. Well, it was a big relief to me that I didn't kill anyone.I found his phone on the floor which was still on. I picked up the phone from the floor and someone was still on the phone." Hello, Cleo. What happened? Why are you not talking to me?... Cleo, I am coming to you." he said on the other side of the phone and I hung up the call quickly because I was afraid that he might come, out of the phone.I saw a car key peeking out of his shirt pocket and I carefully took it from him.I got up on my feet and made my way out of the room, leaving the man behind. And I was thinking in my mind about Cassy.Could she be at it? She was drunk last night and if that funker don't chase me. I won't be here.I cautiously made my way into a narrow hallway. And reached into a spacious living room and it wasn't huge but a normal-sized living room.I saw some pictures of a gorgeous woman hanging on the wall which I found familiar. I don't
When I opened my eyes, he wasn't there and a waft of reliefed spread across my body and I thank Goddess Venus for listening to my prayers and I rolled down on the other side of the car and got up on my feet and dusting my clothes off I looked back and the door of the house opened. He must be went inside and before he found out that I wasn't there. I should be leaving.Well, I was limping towards the main gate. The gate opened automatically and I paced out of the house on to the street.I stopped a taxi and opened the car door and climbed inside the car." Where you want to go madam?"" Linkage road house 402, I am in a rush moved fast." I've told the taxi driver to move fast and he hit the gas pedal... As the car moved forward so as my worries.I took a deep breath and lean my back against the car seat and thought, " I will never forget his face in my life and I never want to see him around me or ever again in my life. It was like scary experience of my life but thank god it's over."
Father, stopped infront of me and I lowered my gaze I don't want him to find the truth." Um,.. I got into an accident and that's why I got late. The driver took me to the hospital for bandage and that's why I didn't buy the...bread." another lie I told the father which I highly doubt that he would be believed me but I didn't dare to gaze up and look at him. I was so afraid of him.He stepped closer to me and I held my dress in to the ball of fist. He drew his face closer to mine and begin sniffing me like a dog.And my heart dropped to the ground. I forgot about that my father has a ability to sniff things out and tell who's scent on them. I frozed like a statue." I can smell the scent of a male wolf on you. It's way too strong who's who could that be? This is the last chance I am giving you to come clear Aisling or it would be worse for you." he threatened me but I can't throw cassy under the bus, just because I am afraid and weak.I can't let father do the same with her like he ha
After few hours, I finally came back to my senses and found myself in the bathroom. I was washing my face, I began to cry. The tears mingled easily with the cold water, in the luminous, dripping crimson of my cupped fingers, and at first I wasn't aware that I was crying at all. The sobs were regular and emotionless, as mechanical as the dry heaves which had stopped only a moment earlier; there was no reason for them, they had nothing to do with me. I brought my head up and looked at my weeping reflection in the mirror with a kind of detached interest. What does this mean? I thought. I looked terrible. Nobody else was falling apart; yet here I was, shaking all over and seeing bats like Ray Milland in The Lost Weekend.A cold draft was blowing in the window. I felt shaky but oddly refreshed. I ran out of the bathroom when I got out. I took the first-Aid kit and begin bandaging my knee. Every part of my body hurts. I took couple of pills to fell relief but relief word was odd in my life.
