Chapter 79- Too Late

Vera's POV

It was almost ten o'clock in the evening, but I was still wide awake. I was still thinking a lot of things while lying on my bed.

Suddenly, my cellphone rang. I took it from the bedside table, but the number flashed on the screen was not registered on my phone. I was in doubt whether to take the call or not. So far, only my brother, nanny, Alexa and Dave knew my new contact number.
