Chapter-34 Propose her

Richard's POV***

I never in my life got this much nervous not even when I am giving out my presentation in the company but its now or never I have to do it,I have to ask her cause I can't keep her waiting for me like this anymore and also I can't stay apart from her ,I want to make her mine completely. She is mine!!!My only!!!

I saw her coming out from the kitchen holding a bowl in her hand ,it seems her curry is ready. I can't wait to get my hand on those curry,I want to taste it cause it looks really ,really delicious!!!but first of all I need to do what I was thinking and preparing myself to do for last two days.

"sorry guys for keep you all waiting , here!!!"she said as she took her seat beside me.

I was just staring at her thinking how I'll start the conversation about courting her but then she turn towards me and gave me a smile and which I return back with a smile as well but I didn't let my eyes off from her.

A minute or so ,I put myself together and let out a heavy sighed which made Erica to look at me with baffled ,I gave her a smile again and stood up from my chair. They all stare at me with confusion written all over their face .

You can do it ,its just to proposed her,come on you can do it!!!

Yes,propose her,mmmm..

"what's wrong Richard ??why did you stood up all of the sudden??"Erica asked as she place her plate in front of her.

I didn't say anything and kept staring into her deep green eyes.

Then the next moment, what my mom said made them all laugh,

"why??is your butt okay!!!or did you fell inside the bathroom again like last time??"mom teased which made Erica to giggle.

I glared at her and said sternly,

"no,I didn't !!!"

"aunt did he really fell inside the bathroom??"Erica asked as she giggle

"yes and do you know where his hand went??"mom said

Erica shook her head before glancing at me.

"his hand went inside the commode and his butt flat on the cactus actually I place the cactus near the toilet and at that time, I love growing cactus with the sharp thrones ,his butts fell flat on them which made him unable to seat as well as difficult to walk" mom explained and Erica after hearing mom she laugh out loud looking at me.

I gave a smirk before I kneel down in front of her and take her hand into mine which made her to stop laughing but at the same time look at me with her eyes widen.

I gave a small smiled at her  expression ,"Erica,I know that during those past few months in New York ,I had treated you badly ,I know that I haven't been kind to you and caused you so much harm together with my friends and  I wanted to apologise for everything that I had done to you in the college"

"wh-what's wr-wrong with you today?why are you beh-behaving like this??"she asked as she stutter with a fake smile on her face .

"Erica!!!"

She stare at me still confused.

"Erica,I want to start all over again but for that I need you,I want to start a new life with you ,I want you to stay by my side  24x7,will you stay with me forever!!"I asked

She just look at me with a blank expression.

"just get to the point,son!!!"mom yelled .

"she is not getting it,what you are trying to say??right Erica"

Again Erica stare at her more confused then before ,"mom , aunt, Richard what are you guys trying to say I an not getting anything??"she spatted"dad,uncle do you know ??"she asked.

Dad and uncle shook their head signaling 'No' ,they don't know and they wouldn't because its between the mothers and son.

I let out a heavy sighed again and look into her dazzling green eyes and said,

"Erica,will you marry me and be mine forever??"

I confessed it out to her but instead of replying me ,she look more surprised then before.

"hey!!!"

"huh,oh!!!"she only replied me with that.

"oh!!"I said mocking at her words

"I can't get that ,is it a yes or no??"

She stare at me for a second before opening her mouth,

"yes!!!"she replied

"yes!!"I said excitedly.

"yes,yes,yes,yes,I'll marry you"she said with a bright smile on her face.

I cupped her face and gave a peck on her lips and both our parents clapped for us.

"I love you!!"I Said and peck her checks .

"congrats both of you!!"mom congratulate us with happiness paste all over her face.

"both of you congratulations "aunt said

"thank you mom ,thank you aunt" Erica replied 

Then I all of the sudden remembered about the ring,its still inside my pocket,I put my hand inside my jacket pocket and there is it,the ring still inside the box waiting for me to put in her ring finger. 

Stupid me ,how can I forget about the most important part about the engagement ??

"okay now lets ea...."I cut Erica in between 

"wait"

They all turn to me again with a question mark face.

"what now??can't we just eat,I  am way hungry??"mom whined

"I forgot the most important part of our engagement "I stated

"what??"Erica asked

I took out the ring box which made her cover her mouth with her hand in a mixed expression . I open the ring box,took the ring out and put it in her ring finger.

"thank you so much , its so beautiful,I love it and I love you so much"and she held me tightly .

"I love you too"I replied

But as we were hugging,mom whined again,"come on both of you ,we are waiting for you and you can continue your romance later"

"yes we all are hungry!!I want to taste those curry"dad said

"okay!!"we both said together and I took my seat and we began to eat and indeed the pumpkin curry was as delicious as ever like aunt complimented about Erica's pumpkin curry.

Erica's POV***

Its already been a week since me and Richard return back from Boston and ever since we return I am busy with my college work making up my classes which I had missed and on the other hand Richard after his graduation he has been busy with the company ,he is now the CEO of the company but nevertheless we never miss a chance to be together when we get our free time .

But now I am very angry at him because he isn't here still now and I know he forgot again its the fifth time that he let me stand here waiting for him and I know he wouldn't come so I am going there myself to free off my tantrums .

I hired a cab and instructed the driver to drove me to his company.

When I reach his company,I rush inside got on the elevator and as I reached his cabin floor I hurried in without knocking and I saw him busy attending his call and a second or so he gestured me to take a seat. Soon after he ended his called and walk towards where I was sitting but stop a metre away, where he lean on his table .

"so what brings you here??never thought that you would come here"he asked with a smile.

I glare at him and then rolled my eyes away.

"okay!!!so you are angry ,may I know why??"

I cross my arms over my chest and look at him from the corner of my eyes and said,

"you forgot again ,you told me that you will pick me up after my class but as always you forgot and its the fifth time you kept me standing there"

He furrow his eyebrows and said,

"I am sorry ,I was stuck in an important meeting that I got lost track of time "and he stood up from his comfortable position.

"you always say that guess your meetings are much more important then me"I mumble which he obviously heard it.

"no,never ,you are more important then all those but this meetings was important ...its for us"he stated with a smile.

"for u----s??"I said as I stare at him in baffled.

what did he meant by that...wait!!don't tell me he is thinking about marr....no, no absolutely not cause last week he told me that he doesn't want to rush with marriage, now I mean he will but not now but if its not then what exactly is he talking about??
