Chapter Thirty One
My office phone rings on Thursday evening. It's almost six, and I stayed behind to finish one of the costumes I've been working on today.
Curious who could be calling me after work hours, I take the call.
"Ms. Tsindoli from Design. How can I help you?"
"Hello, Ms. Tsindoli. This is Rebecca from Mr. Park's office. He wants to see you right now."
My heartbeat accelerates immediately at the sound of his name. I haven't seen him all week. It saved me from the agony of facing him after what happened. Especially because the dating rumors are still flying around, and I still don't know what's true and what's not.
I figured that if they are true, I can forget about what happened between us and move on with my life. Breaking my rules to sleep with him when he's my boss is different from sleeping with him when he has a girlfriend.

I wake up at seven o'clock, which I'm happy for — that's enough time to prepare, have breakfast, and get to work without being ridiculously late.
