Amelia rose early to get to work before Blake. There was some admin that she wanted to get done before her work day started.

She was still filing when she smelt him. Oh, my goodness, this man is going to drive me crazy, she thought to herself.

“Good morning, Amelia,” greeted Blake as he stopped at her desk. “You’re in early today, I’m usually the early bird.”

“There were a few things I wanted to get done before work, so I came in a bit earlier than usual,” she had such a wide smile on her face that her cheeks actually hurt.

Oh, my word, this woman is so beautiful! Thought Blake to himself as he stood there and looked at Amelia’s angelic face, his heart beat faster than it had a few seconds ago.

“Is there anything that I can do for you this morning?” asked Amelia trying to break the awkward silence between them as they both just stood there staring at one another.
