KILLIAN POV

The doors slammed shut. She left. She fucking left me, She actually walked away from me.

Something inside me snapped. My fist slammed into the brick wall. Pain shot through my knuckles, but I barely felt it.

I want my freedom, Killian! Destroy my future! I don't care anymore!

Her words echoed through my head.

“Freedom?” I laughed out loud. She really thought this was over.

She thought walking away erased everything between us.

She thought losing her scholarship or running bac

HAZEL POVMy hands shook as I stared at the message. No doubt it was from Killian. I wanted to reply back but decided against it. I’m leaving anyway, so it’s of no use. I blocked the number and shoved my phone back into my pocket.“I’m so fucking tired.” Mila heaved as she sat down. “Is that tears?” Mila tipped my chin up.“No.”“We need to go, it’s midnight already.” Conner said, carrying an already sleeping Winter.“Alright.”I helped Mila up, and we walked out of the bar and called it a night.**********“Call me every day, you hear?” Winter hugged me tight.“You will sniff the life out of me,” I choked out.“Oh, sorry.” She let go, and I breathed out. “I will miss you. Send my regards to your mum, okay? I will come visit.”A tear dropped down my cheeks. “Come here, you two.”I wrapped my best friends in a hug, and we stood at the bus terminal hugging each other.“Alright, my bus is here. I gotta go.” I clapped their backs.“Take care of yourself, alright?” Mila said.I nodded and

HAZEL POVWeeks passed, no word from Killian. I didn’t even see his shadow, but that has seemed to be his way. He disappears after we have a fight and reappears to put me on edge all over again.I’ve been studying for examinations. Students still looked at me wearily. The rumors have died down, but students still whispered.“Last fucking day on this campus before break, you excited?” Winter squealed. “What’s your plan for this holiday?” she asked.“Nothing much. I’m just gonna spend it with my parents, find a part-time job, and busy myself.”“Come with me.” She dragged me to the outer part of the building. Students barely come here.“You’re still going through with the transfer, Haze? Think about this.” Winter has been trying to convince me to change my mind for weeks now, but I just can’t.“We’ve talked about this. I’m not changing my mind.”Winter breathed out. “He has not even bothered you for long now. Maybe he changed his mind. I don’t want you to leave me here all alone, please,

HAZEL POV“Tell me what that bastard did to you?” Winter tilted my face up. “Did he force himself on you?”I shook my head. “He didn’t. But he locked me up. I’m really tired of all this, Win. I just wanted a fresh start. Maybe I would just quit college, go back to my family.” I sniffed.“There’s no way in hell you are quitting college because of that prick.” She stood and paced around.“He won’t leave me alone, Winter. He said that himself. I need to leave here. After what happened at that auction night, I’m going to be the talk of the school again. It’s already bad that I’ve been in that forum countless times.” I shuddered. “I’m just tired of all this,” I whispered.Winter crouched down and held my hands. “You are not going to run because of one person. He wants to break you. Don’t give him that satisfaction. You’ve done well over the years to let him bring it all down.”I nodded. “I just wanted to graduate without being seen, but trouble seems to follow me around. Since I started gr

HAZEL POV“You want the monster, Hazel?" Killian whispered, his voice dropping into a low growl. "Fine. You got him."Before I could even think, he lunged forward, scooped me off the floor, and threw me over his shoulder."Killian, no! Put me down! Let me go!" I shrieked. I hammered my fists against his back, blood rushing to my head. I tried to kick my legs in the air.Slap.I froze as the sting registered. Did he just spank me?"You're insane! Let me out of this house!"He didn't say a single word. He kept on walking. He pushed open the bedroom door, carried me inside, and dumped me onto the bed.I scrambled backward. “What do you think you’re doing? You heard me before, put your hands anywhere near me and I will kill you.”He just smirked. "You're not leaving this house tonight, Hazel," standing at the foot of the bed. "And you're sure as hell not leaving tomorrow either. You're staying right under my roof until I say you can go."Truth is, I’m scared of Killian, but I will not kee

KILLIAN POVI didn't wait for her to recover. My hand curled around her waist as I pulled her with me through the backstage. The girls there whispered how lucky she was to be with me. No shit, I’m the lucky one. I pulled her outside towards my car. The shock must have worn off because she shouted out,"Killian, let go of me!"I ignored her and opened the car door. “Get in.”“What the hell do you think you’re doing? You know what, I will forget about this act of yours tonight. Right now, I need to find Winter so we can get the hell out of here.”I let her walk away. She almost made it inside till I pulled her back and threw her over my shoulder."Put me down, you psychopath! Let me go!" She screamed.I threw her inside the car the same time her friend came outside, shouting, “Hazel!”“Winter, help!” My girl shouted.I pulled the car out and drove off with her friend shouting Hazel's name."Are you completely out of your mind?" Hazel screamed again. “I need to get back to Winter. Let me

HAZEL POV“Let go of me! I told you I didn't audition for this!” I screamed. “I said let go, you overgrown big bastards!”“Shut up and stay in line, forty-six,” the larger guard barked again.“There's been a mistake! Check the system again!” I pleaded, my voice cracking with pure panic as tears blurred my vision. “My name shouldn't be on that list! Let me out of here!”None of the girls even looked at me. If anything, they were delighted to be here. Sick people. They kept on calling numbers, and the girls one by one walked out. I heard them bidding, and this is really sick. Are we bags of chips or what? Always listen to your damn guts, Hazel.“Entry number forty-two, you're up,” a female yelled, clicking her pen.A tall brunette stepped forward, the heavy curtains parting as she walked out onto the main stage. The second she stepped out, a deafening roar erupted.“Alright, gentlemen!” the student MC’s voice boomed over the loudspeakers. “Let’s keep the numbers climbing! Bidding for nu
