Quinn's point of viewAfter a long night with Nathan’s parents, we headed home on cloud nine. Nathan couldn't stop smiling, and he was already talking about baby names. I tried to tell him to calm down as it was very early, so we had plenty of time, but he was so excited it was hard to put a damper on things for him. Summer, Noah and Megan were all in the back garden when we arrived home. Noah gave us a smile before noticing our matching grins.“What’s going on? he asked, looking from us to the girls next to him.Nathan looked at me silently, asking if he could tell them; unbeknown to him, the girls knew, so I nodded.“We found out today we are expecting our first pup.” Nathan was bursting with pride, and it was written all over his face.“Congratulations, you two.” Noah ran over, fist bumpi
Quinn’s point of view“Don’t tell anyone about what we are planning for the gender reveal. I want to keep that a surprise.” I told Nathan as we stood outside his parent's suite.“Okay, whatever you want,” he promised. “I’ll follow your lead.Sarah opened the door and ushered us inside “how did you get on at the doctor's.”“All is well, and we have decided to throw a pool party tomorrow and do a small gender reveal at four if that’s ok.”“That’s fine; we will be there. So you know what you're having.” She squealed with excitement.“No, Emily is going to phone me in the morning, but I can plan the party now,” I told her.We left soon after so I could go shopping for the f
Quinn's point of viewLoud banging pulled me from my sleep which was a shame as I was having a lovely dream about Jay from Chicago PD. I pulled myself out of bed and towards the noise that had woken me and found Nathan and Noah clearing out one of the spare bedrooms.“What are you doing,” I asked, startling both men.“Sorry, we didn’t mean to wake you,” Nathan told me apologetically.“Then don’t bang about at the crack of dawn,” I mumbled grumpily. Both of them chuckled softly as Nathan turned me around to face the hall clock. It was after twelve.“Dammit, why did you let me sleep this late I’m meeting your mum in twenty minutes to go to the bridal store to get measured again.” I turned and ran for our room to quickly get ready. I ran out of the house less than t
Quinn's point of viewI could scent Nathan before I even opened my eyes, but when I stretched, I knew I was lying on a bed, which was strange as I was sure I had fallen asleep on the couch in his office. I opened my eyes, and sure enough, I was lying on a bed in Nathans old room in his parent's suite. I was still fully clothed; even my shoes were on. I wandered into the living room to find Sarah, Megan and Summer looking for a photographer; apparently, Sarah couldn't decide between two, so the girls were looking through their portfolios to help her choose. I also found out that we were also having a videographer as well. I didn't really understand why we needed both, but Sarah had insisted.“How are you feeling after your nap,” Summer asked as I sat down on the couch between her and Megan.“Like I need another one,” I replied. “Wheres Nathan?”
Quinn's point of viewI looked down at his phone and saw the photo he had been sent of me being carried whilst sleeping by Asher.“Well, in my defence, I was sleeping,” I told him, handing the phone back to him although he made no effort to take it back.“There is a text attached this time.”I scrolled down and saw the text, “look how content your supposed mate looks in your brother's arms. How do you know it's you she wants” “who the hell is doing this” I exploded “surely there is a way for us to find out who's phone it is.”“I tried, but it's a pre paid phone, so there is no way to find out who's doing it, but I thought I should let you know.”I turned my head away from him and started at the pond in front of me.
Nathan's point of viewI rushed to her the picnic basket as fast as I could. I didn't want to speculate about what could be the cause of Quinn being sick like she said it's a normal part of pregnancy, but the way Amy was acting wasn't helping my fears; in fact, she made them worse. I've known Amy my whole life she's two years older than me and I was friends with her brother for many years she met her mate in our pack so unlike so many women she didn't have to move to a new pack and I could tell that there was something wrong as soon as she asked me to retrieve the food. I trusted Amy to sit with Quinn as a friend, but I still didn't know if this was a straightforward pregnancy thing or if someone had tried to harm her and our pups.Regardless of what happened, she would want her best friends there; even if it were so that they could sit in the waiting room, she would be calmer knowing they were there. Also, selfishly
Quinn's point of viewI watched Emily's face as she came into the room. Ever the consummate professional, her face gave nothing away. Amy, on the other hand, had a twinkle in her eye, instantly making me relax.“We have good news”, Emily smiled, moving closer to the bed. “You suffered an allergic reaction to the flour they used in the brownies.”“Are you sure” Nathan snarled, earning him a scowl from Emily.“Yes, the kitchen had used brown flour in the brownies to try and make them healthier, and you're allergic to it.”“Why didn't it look like an allergy,” I asked, confused.“My guess would be because of your special ability.”“You mean because I'm a Darach,” I asked as Amy’s mouth fell open id for
Quinn's point of viewI eagerly awaited Liam’s arrival like a dog with two tails. I missed him, and even though it hasn't really been that long since I've seen him, I still wish I had moved closer to home so I could see him a lot more.I practically ran to the door when the doorbell sounded, throwing the door open and hugging Liam.“Look at you, Quinn; you're glowing.” Liam held me at arm's length as he looked me over.“That would be the spa day me, Summer and Megan had today.” I laughed.“You look great. Being pregnant suits you, sis. So where's Summer and my future brother in law.”“Summer has gone with Megan and Sarah to check the banquet hall to make sure it's ready for tomorrow. They are leaving nothing to chance, and Nate is getting as much work done
