Doctors Appointment

Quinn's point of view 

After a long night with Nathan’s parents, we headed home on cloud nine. Nathan couldn't stop smiling, and he was already talking about baby names. I tried to tell him to calm down as it was very early, so we had plenty of time, but he was so excited it was hard to put a damper on things for him. Summer, Noah and Megan were all in the back garden when we arrived home. Noah gave us a smile before noticing our matching grins.

“What’s going on? he asked, looking from us to the girls next to him.

Nathan looked at me silently, asking if he could tell them; unbeknown to him, the girls knew, so I nodded.

“We found out today we are expecting our first pup.” Nathan was bursting with pride, and it was written all over his face.

“Congratulations, you two.” Noah ran over, fist bumpi

they make a bunch of hard boiled eggs and dye them blue and pink leaving one (or in this case 2) raw. parents to be then take said eggs one at a time taking turns and smash them on their foreheads. whatever color ends up the raw egg is the babies gender.

I love happy endings and good closure but this is dragging a bit. Like should I be poised for another plot point or is this it?

I don’t understand what eggs have to do with a gender reveal. But then again, I think it’s a corny new fad along with the whole, writing your own vows, which aren’t actually vows but a love declaration.
