Chapter 17

Kristine sat behind her office table. It was positioned at a corner in the office. There was another table that stretched from her left down to the edge of the office, a little bit lengthy and had a number of study and cleaning tools scattered all over. There was a shelf behind her, similar to the one in Alexander’s office. It held lots of books and encyclopedias.

Kristine looked around the place, her table was very disorganized. It looked like the last person to come in was looking for something in a haste and the volume of dust told a lot about how long the place had been vacant. There was a worn out globe which sat comfortably on the table and obviously needed to be discarded, a telephone which she felt should be discarded as well after she tried it and it turned out dead, the desktop was as good as gone. This was one of the times she needed Camille. She took our a sheet of paper and a pen and began to make a list. She decided she was going to give the place a makeover before she r
