Clara was satisfied with how things were coming together. They had already come across a lot of useful information that would discredit Beryl’s business reputation.

“That’s a good plan,” Arthur agreed. “Let’s see what else we can dig up. We know who her investors are so it will be easy to make sure the right people see this information.”

Clara nodded and continued going through the emails on the server. Beryl was sounding increasingly desperate for money in her recent emails to her employees.

“I’ve found some records that look like what we need,” Arthur announced. “There’s a list of incoming money and the sender for some of the payments is listed as ‘unknown’. These dates are from very early on, this has to be the money that she took from your grandfather. She took the money out in small amounts over several weeks.”
