After dinner, she called Delilah's mother, who confirmed that she would take us to the cinema and that, once the film was finished, she would drop us off at our respective homes; just as I had told her. My mom finally agreed and finally told me that if I could go, on the condition that I came home early and that if I was late for any reason, I would call her to be in the loop.
