Act 32: A Helping Hand
Kieran
A tall, bulky man with grey eyes and blonde hair walks towards Kieran as soon as he steps into the private hospital and leads him off to the side. Kieran could only assume that this was Dr Ivanov, Dimitri’s contact. “How long have they have held her for?” He asks, surprising Kieran. Dimitri must have called the doctor with news of his arrival. “Close to two months,” he admits and the doctor nods before opening a door to a ward for Devyn. “Lay her over there, then please wait outside. We will handle things from here.” He explains to Kieran, who lays Devyn down on the hospital bed and looks down at her, feeling as if he was leaving his heart on the table for them to poke at. “We will take care of her, Mr Teague,” Dr Ivanov says and gestures towards the door. Kieran nods then turns on his heel and leaves the room.
The wait was the worst. It was close to 2 hours, and they were still busy with her
