Chapter 47

Nera got into the car and instructed the driver to take her home immediately. He tried to speak, but she ordered him to keep quiet.

Her mind was trying to figure out who followed her to Alabama and took the photos. She lived a very private life by then and was not trying to get on anyone's nerves, so it did not make sense that either Nicole or Mrs. Blair would have followed.

But she was sure the two idiots were behind the allegations.

"Is Marcus home?" she asked.

"Yes, he arrived an hour ago," the driver replied.

At home, Marcus was fuming at the images, not because someone was trying to implicate his wife and driver but because someone followed him and his wife to Alabama.

His blood pressure was all over the roof, and he kept imagining what other photos they had of him or if they had photos of Frank and knew about his arrangement.

He quickly called his private investigator to get on the job immediately and ordered him to make the photos disappear. When he thought he had handled ever
