Chapter 51

Another day passed, and Marcus was finally discharged from the hospital. He had not yet told Nera about Nicole's affair with the mayor. He wanted to hold on to the wild card, waiting for them to be caught together in the physical act.

He knew telling her would result in her going public with the news or confronting Nicole which would result in the affair ending up as allegations especially since the nudes of the two cheating idiots did not contain faces.

When he arrived home, Nera was so excited to have him back in the house that the second they both walked into the bedroom, she quickly closed the door and began kissing him.

"Nera, what are you doing?" Marcus asked

"I missed you," she replied, and she kept kissing him.

Marcus quickly held her hands, stopping her. He had recovered but was tired and needed rest.

"Sorry, my princess not today; the doctor recommended that I get some rest," he replied disappointing her.
