Grandpa said angrily, hitting his walking stick once more on Bryan’s back, this time with force.

Bryan ran out from Grandpa's side and ran towards Elena for help, like a child who was dodging his mother's rage.

The act made everyone burst into laughter before taking their chairs to eat.

While waiting for the maids to serve the food, Elena remembered that Grandpa Morris was telling her a story before Bryan interrupted them.

Bryan glanced at the two, before directing a question to the grandfather.

Grandpa Morris laughed. He wanted to answer Bryan, but Elena's voice overshadowed his own.
