“Just rest until we get there.” He said as she continued to rest. His hand still holding hers in his. He smiled at the sight. He looked at the back mirror and saw the car was still following him. Though he wanted to lose it, he wasn’t going to do anything to spook her. He was laying the groundwork for her to stay. They began their trip back to the apartment in silence. He knew that she had pushed herself, and she was tired. He also knew that when she got to the place, they would have to talk about everything.
