Chapter Thirty-one

Ethan made haste to Luke's residence. He had just ended his conversation with Ella and had left her. Ella who had hearkened to the request of Ethan had gone back to the small hall where the rest of her guards were already enjoying themselves. She soon joined them, discussing with a few of the what she and Ethan has talked about. By the looks of it, she wasn't that surprised.

He knocked at the door of Luke on getting to his doorstep. He got no response and decided to barge in. He got inside only to see Luke sitting all by himself. He already figured that Luke was scared of something, he just doesn't know what it was. His face looked pale. Ethan smiled devilishly, seeing his Father that way. Eretria was not in that moment, She had gone out at the time Ella came.

"Father, why are you like this, I'm your only son... What's going on." He asked, walking closer to him.

Luke grunted, bowing his head where he sat. `I'll have to confess to Eretria someday, what if what the seer said was true...
