Chapter Twenty-five

It was still very dark and still the period of the full moon. Ethan hurried, looking at his back frequently in an attempt to get to his apartment. He bumped into Roy and and Laurel who were on either side of Cara, helping her to walk and were on their way to Priya's apartment. Priya had gone ahead of them to prepare where she was going to sleep. Cara shoud be with the two others who had won in the trials but due to her sudden trauma. She was granted the permission to stay at Priya's apartment after Priya had pleaded on her behalf.

Roy signaled to Laurel to go ahead of him and soon, will catch up with her. He already figured out that Ethan might want to question him based on the reason why he had always appeared to be wherever Cara was. The thought of Ethan telling him that Cara was her mate still baffled him. He understood how one's mate could react if seen with someone else.

"Where are you running off to Ethan... you don't look too good." Roy asked him, seeing his decomposed reaction
