LOGIN“Is this not what you wanted by coming in here?” “For me to take you against the window, knowing anyone could be watching?” ** ** ** ** My mom marrying a billionaire is shocking enough, but I certainly didn’t expect that she had managed to get together with the Alpha King. Since when did meeting royalty become so easy? I don’t belong in this palace. Especially because my stepbrother has just offered me a million dollars to make sure my mom doesn’t show up on the altar.

“Hey! I heard the Blackridge Pack has really hot men, it’s actually good that you are going there single.”
Amy was always careless with her words and her attempt at consoling me after I had just seen my boyfriend Jake cheating on me two days ago was doing nothing to make me feel better.
“Who cares about their hot men?” I grumbled and downed another shot.
“Slow down, Nadia,” Amy warned and then moved closer to rub soothing circles on my back.
Without thinking, I turned around and threw my arms around her.
“I’ll miss you so fucking much.”
I mean, I was happy that my mom had found someone she wanted to spend her life with after dad, but having to move away from the pack I had spent my entire life and leaving my best friend and boyfriend. No…ex-boyfriend sucked.
“But I also heard that their rules are more complicated.”
“Damn” Amy cursed and it only took a minute for me to realize that she wasn’t replying to me. She was staring at the man that just walked into the club like he owned the damned place.
If I didn’t work here, I would have placed my money on it but I knew that Sparkles was owned by James, Jake’s brother and that was the only reason why Amy and I had gotten a job here six months ago, even though I just turned eighteen last week.
I stared at him, the club lights couldn’t let me tell his exact skin tone, but he was nothing less than 6”4 and those shoulders….
“I thought you swore off men some minutes ago?” Amy poked at my arm, and I feigned a cough.
“I’m starting to think it was a good thing I was cheated on.”
If men like this existed outside of my imagination, then the goddess knew what she was doing by bringing me here tonight.
“I can just tell that he’s an Alpha,” Amy added on the side and I nodded. Only an Alpha should look like that.
Once I get my wolf, I won’t need to be guessing anymore.
“Nadia, private dance requested in VIP room 003,” Marisa said as she sent me and Amy a frown.
I took a deep breath and gave Amy’s hand a squeeze.
I loved dancing, but private dances were usually a little more intimate than just twirling on a pole. But we needed the money, and even though Mom had mentioned that we were going to be fine now, the last thing I was going to do was trust some man who had no reason to take care of me.
I rushed into the change room and wiped down my body, added a new layer of perfume and ran my hands through my curls one last time before heading towards VIP room 003.
However, as I opened the door, I froze for a second at the sight before me.
Although the room was dim, I could still make out his figure, especially since his height and broad shoulders were hard to forget.
He chose me for a private dance?
After standing there for more than a minute and Mr gorgeous hadn’t turned around yet, I cleared my throat gently.
He turned around and for a second, it felt like everything froze over, his eyes were fixed on me and the two piece I had on suddenly felt smaller than I remembered them being.
“Are there any rules?” He asked before settling down on the couch.
I should list the rules. I had the long list memorized. No touching, no pictures, no hair pulling. But somehow, I found myself unwilling to list them.
“There are no rules.”
“None?” He sounded amused, and I rushed to correct my words.
“Only what I want to give.”
He chuckled, the sound was low, magnetic and sent shivers straight down my spine.
Goddess help me.
“So, anything you want goes?”
I nodded and then realized he might not see me.
“Yes. Anything I want to offer.”
I was definitely not growing to throw my virginity at him, but something about this man made me forget all my rules regarding men.
“Alright,” he said, and then spread his thighs slowly.
“Come sit here.”
What. The. Hell?
There’s no way I could have stopped my body from going towards him. With all the nerves in my body acting like they responded to only him now.
I had never lap danced. All of my private dances usually stayed by the pole. Yet, as I lowered myself on his legs, I found myself slowly stirring to the music.
A man like this would not be with some silly girl like me, yet, as his legs shifted slightly, I felt myself slowly wondering if it could happen.
That was how it happened in those human movies and series, right?
I rolled my hips slowly and then allowed my hands to travel to my sides while grinding against Mr Gorgeous.
I was starting to feel a reaction and a strange feeling of pride started to swell up in me.
My body stiffened for a second as his hands curled around my waist and pulled me against his chest.
“Good girl.”
Almost as though he wanted to make a point, he parted his thigh one more time and I felt a jolt of electricity sweep through me and stop at my core as his hard-on pressed against my core.
He leaned in until his lips were pressed against my ears, and I whimpered gently.
This man was going to be the death of me and somehow the thought of that thrilled me.
“Seems like you have learned just about enough from your mother.”
My body stiffened and with his hand still around my waist, I had very little wiggle room to turn around.
But there was no way I heard him wrongly.
“What did you say?”
He stood up, his arm around me loosening as he stood to full height.
“Nice to meet you, Nadia Moore.”
“I’m Ares Callaghan.”
My brows raised in confusion. “Am I meant to know you?”
He smirked, his lips curling only slightly.
“I’m the son of the man your mother just charmed her way into giving her a ring. Your future stepbrother.”
I can’t tell what emotion I’m feeling the most. Shock? Rage? Embarrassment?
How was he here across the country and in the club that I worked at?
“Don’t get carried away now, Princess,” Ares said, pulling me out of my thoughts and back to staring at his devilishly handsome face.
“I have no interest in new gold-digging additions to the family…” he paused, his hands digging into his pocket as he pulled out a card.
“One million dollars for you, and all you have to do is make sure your mom doesn’t walk down the aisle with my Dad.”
He leaned forward, placed the card on the only table in the VIP room and then walked to the door.
“Have you lost your mind?” I finally managed to say, Ares didn’t stop until he was at the door, and then he turned back slightly.
“That’s the best deal you can get. Don’t get greedy.”
NADIA“Don't push her. She's tired,” Miralyn’s voice echoed in my head. “I'm not doing anything,” I responded. My heart raced for no reason at all. “Indeed.” Miralyn's sassy tone ticked me off. She had gotten a large mouth since she returned. Lyra looked at me with worried eyes and I returned my gaze to my mom. Maybe, my tone was a bit off. I calmed my voice and before I could catch them, the first words had escaped my mouth. “You left the meeting. Why?”Her smile wavered slightly. “I got bored with politics,” she smoothly replied, though her manner seemed prepared. “And, I was dying to see my daughter. We haven’t talked in a long time without…an argument between us.”An argument? She went silent on me when she found out I was mated to my stepbrothers. I nodded slowly, but an unmistakable sense of confidence replaced my unease. She sat svelte on the bed, close enough for me to feel her forcefield beside me. I swallowed and got the question out. “That prince from Astorian…”Her ey
NADIACornelius was sitting across from me, arms folded and leaning back in his chair, looking at me as if I were a puzzle he wanted to figure out. Lyra was perched on the edge of the bed next to me, swinging her legs back and forth, glancing from her brother to me.“So, Nadia,” Cornelius finally addressed her in a calm but firm voice, “how the hell do you manage with twins?”I couldn't respond before Lyra popped in with a chuckle. “She doesn’t handle them. She just… goes with it.”Cornelius' glance was indeed significant enough to impose silence on her. “Lyra, be quiet. You’re still my younger sister.”Lyra made a face at him but only groaned and didn't say anything else.Cornelius turned back to me with a slightly less harsh expression. “For real though, they even fight each other to be near you. You must know that, right?”I sighed and reclined on the headboard. “It’s not because of anything as sweet as that. It’s because they each want to be the one who pisses me off first.”Corne
ARESThe car rolled to a smooth stop before the castle gates, the heavy iron doors already open, guards lined up on both sides with their heads bowed. I pushed the door open and stepped out first. Their voices rose together, a respectful greeting, but I didn’t spare them a look. My eyes drifted to the car door on the other side, waiting. The door clicked, and Nadia stepped out slowly. I held my arm out to her the way a gentleman was expected to. She glanced at me once, her eyes calm but sharp, and ignored it. She walked ahead without touching me.My jaw tightened. Luca came out from the other side and his smirk was the first thing I saw. “You need to get your head out of the clouds, brother,” he teased, adjusting his coat like he was walking a runway.I scoffed, meeting his eyes with my own sharpness. “Mind your business.”He chuckled low and followed after Nadia while I kept close. We entered through the grand archway, the chandeliers still swaying slightly after the chaos of the rog
LUCA“Uhm, you two are kinda intense…” Lyra started talking but when we looked at her she stopped and swallowed.Lyra laughed awkwardly and went over to Nadia. Cornelius stepped forward. “We have to leave. Can everyone get in the car, please?”Ares and I didn't move. Our eyes were fixed on Nadia. He wasn't getting her to his side. The driver stepped out of the driver's seat and bowed slightly, gesturing to Nadia. “Yes, my lady. Please.”I shook my head. “You guys go ahead. I want to talk with Nadia.”Ares stepped up beside me. “So do I.”That brought a quick silence. What in the world was his problem? Cornelius looked shocked. Lyra’s mouth dropped open and Nadia's eyes darted between us. She didn't look too happy about it. Nadia’s eyes hardened. “Whatever it is, you two can tell me at the castle. I’m not waiting here.” She turned to Cornelius and Lyra. “I’m coming with you.”“No, you're not,” Ares’s low voice spoke. Her head snapped toward him. “Why not?” She was angry now. Her ey
LUCACyrus stood there, his hand dripping with blood. One of the Astorian members stepped forward and offered him a napkin. Cyrus took it, pressed it against his hand, and said, “Thank you,” in a calm voice.I kept my eyes on him, but I noticed everything around me. Evelyn tried to keep her face still, but her eyes betrayed her. She looked shaken, almost broken from the inside. And when I compared Cyrus’s face with hers, I saw it—the sharp jawline, the eyes, the small tilt of his nose. The resemblance was clear.I had been digging into Cyrus’s family ties for a while, but I couldn't access some of it. His mother had died after giving birth or so the media said. They look like mother and son. My wolf announced. We can't say anything yet. I replied. You have been thinking about it for some time. Queen Evelyn sure knows him. She's been looking at him for a while. She may be in shock. I responded and my wolf laughed. It was a mockery and I endured it. You're not a dumb wolf. Unlike y
Nadia's POVWe turned towards when the sound came and saw guards falling to the floorunconscious, one after the other. The guest shrieked and I smelt somethingdifferent. The scent has strong dirt, pine wood, and water on it.Among the crowd, a unified roar grew and I quivered. Half the men andwomen pulled out their wigs and their skin turned pale. Their mouths openedwide and bared their fangs.“What are…they?” Lyra asked.“Rogues,’’ I breathed.~“Aaah!&
