I woke up with an odd feeling running through me. It felt like something inside was being pulled. I looked over at the clock and saw that it was just before six in the morning.

‘Relax,’ Byron said, but his voice sounded further away. ‘Go into the living room.’

It took some ninja skills to get out of the bed without waking Ziyah. My eyes landed on the calendar and realized what was happening. It was the full moon tonight. She had marked the calendar with excitement the day that we learned about the Fae Gods’ gift to us.

We had no idea how this would work except that Byron would feel a pull and had to embrace it. I employed some of my mate’s meditation techniques and relaxed. A comforting warmth spread throughout my entire body.

A bright white light moved outwards from my body and turned into his outline before there was a flash of light. It was just as fucking surreal to see him like this as it was when we were in their realm.

“This is so fucking strange,” I said with a chuckle.
