LOGIN~~~DAMIAN’S POV~~~
I glared at the screen, reading the email from my cybersecurity team. The same thing happened again…someone entered our systems and corrupted them all. I grind my teeth while reading through the whole damage assessment my cyber team did. This wasn't the first time that something like this had happened. This was becoming almost a habit currently. Despite all our efforts, someone always found a way around all our security checks, and this was now starting to get on my nerves. So far, we have a list of culprits who could be behind this. The list consisted of three names. I would hunt them all down at any cost and make them regret their whole life. I'd ensure they died the slowest deaths, begging and crying for the quickest way out, but they wouldn't have it. No one ever crossed me and got away with it. I always hunted them down and gave them the most torturous death so they wouldn't dare to be born again. Before I could drive my fist through the screen in front of me, my phone rang. I scowled and picked it up. "Mark Ethan off the list," Aiden, my brother, spoke first. I cocked an eyebrow and leaned back in my chair. "You killed him?" I asked, intrigued. Ethan was one of our three main suspects. "Nah, he killed himself," Aiden responded, a tone of amusement in his voice. I clenched my teeth. In times like these, I wouldn't say I liked humour a lot. "But, before he took himself out, he tipped us.” "Really?" I asked, "Who is it then? Zayne?” he was another one of our suspects. In response, Aiden chuckled. "Zayne is dead too. Someone else took him out," Aiden spoke, his voice dark and cynical. "At this point, you can guess correctly who it could be," "Alex," I breathed. It was a hacker no one had ever seen. No one knew who Alex was, where he or she lived, what their real name and most importantly, why they were targeting us. But I knew one thing, it was Alex all along. Ethan and Zayne were notorious hackers, but they didn't have it in them to play such pranks on us. Deep down, I had known subconsciously that it was Alex, but I had sent my brother after Ethan and Zayne just to be sure. "That fucker," Aiden muttered. "Have you found something about him?" I asked. "Nothing, but we can be sure now that it had been him all along," Aiden confirmed, and I agreed. Whoever this Alex was, they were good at what they did, so good that even my cyber team, who were supposed to be the best in the country, couldn't find him or her. Despite my frustration and anger at him for continuously attacking us, I was impressed by Alex’s skill. They seemed to know what they were doing, and they did it well. If they weren't against us, I'd have paid them millions to work for us. This made me more curious about Alex and even more restless to find him. They had proven that their skills were the best in the country, and if we failed to find them in time, they could bring us down singlehandedly. I wasn't going to allow that. "And what did Ethan tip you exactly?" I asked. "He had been trying to find out about Alex for years, and so far, he told me that Alex is a girl and she's from somewhere around the south coast.” "A girl.” I gritted. "A she-wolf,” Aiden mused, making the fire burn harder in my chest. I was now more determined than ever to hunt her down. I wasn't going to let a she-wolf destroy us. And once she had been caught, I'd make sure she regretted messing with us. "What else?" I probed just to be sure. "Nothing much, I'll be back by evening after I finish the business here properly,” Aiden told me, and in the background, I could hear a few of our men talking and breaking things. They must be tearing Ethan's home apart to find other important things. "Come back as soon as possible, I'll find this she-wolf soon," I declared, making Aiden chuckle. "Promise me, you'll share her with me. I'd like to have a piece of her, too. After all, she had kept us on our toes for a while," Aiden chuckled. I knew what he really meant by that. I didn't know why, but I was more interested in hunting down Alex. "Alex would wish she were dead," I growled. "She must have nerves of steel to mess with us," Aiden commented after barking a few orders at one of the men in the background. "To mess with the two of us and not once, but numerous times, and doing this for years without us ever being able to find out anything about her," He spoke what I had been thinking about all the time. “You’ve got to give it to her for that.” "We have to find her soon," I stated before he could go on about her, "Because Ethan and Zayne are out. This might have alerted her.” "I know, I'm tearing down everything in Ethan’s house to see what else he found out about her," Aiden told me. "Gotta go now, see you tonight, brother," With that, he disconnected the call. Immediately, I messaged my team and told them the important info Aiden said to me about Alex. In the meantime, I could only wait for them to continue their investigation and for Aiden to return. And this was the part which I hated the most…waiting. I was the most patient man, but lately, my wolf had been acting strange. I sighed deeply and checked the time. It was about five in the morning. I hadn't slept all night because my wolf had been quite active inside me, not letting me sleep. It was as if he was trying to tell me something, but whenever I'd try to talk to him, he'd shut me down. This had never happened before. I had always been in sync with my wolf. Something was making it act strange, and I didn't know what it could be. Maybe I should visit the old witch who lived in the woods. She knew everything— one of the reasons why we never fucked with her and let her stay in our territory even though she wasn't a member of our pack. She'd throw us a bone once in a while, and that was all that constituted our symbiotic relationship. I got up and decided to try to take a nap even though I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep. I left the office and went to the house I shared with my brother. I went to my bathroom and stripped before taking a cold shower. I sucked in a sharp breath as the cold water hit my body, pricking my skin like a thousand needles. The discomfort eased out in a couple of seconds, and my muscles relaxed while I felt the water run down my body. "We're coming for you, Alex.”Amelia arrived at the mansion this morning to report on the state of affairs in the ShadowNight pack, specifically regarding my dear sister. The day was deceptively pleasant—clear skies, crisp air, and sunlight pouring generously over the palace. The golden glow kissed the white stone walls, making them gleam as though the world itself were mocking me with its calm.“Tell me that little thief is dead, Amelia,” I demanded, unable to hide the sharp thrill in my voice. I leaned forward slightly, fingers tightening around my teacup. Each passing second without an answer stretched my impatience thinner, until it was almost unbearable. We sat on the balcony outside my chambers, overlooking the vast forest and the Olympic-sized pool below. Amelia was dressed casually—a denim skirt that skimmed mid-thigh and a dark blue crop top that hugged her frame. Her voluminous curls were braided neatly into boxer braids, accentuating the roundness of her face. But it was her eyes—those dull, grayish
~ RAVEN ~ "Karen, get my phone from the stand," I ordered firmly, without taking my eyes off my laptop, where my fingers dance nimbly across the keyboard. I was in the middle of researching the best bridal shops, each click bringing me closer to the perfect vision of my big day. Karen, my personal maid, obeyed with quick steps, and in a few seconds, she handed me my latest edition phone. I took it and promptly sent a message to Amelia. [Ask to visit your parents and come to my palace. We need to talk.] I typed the words quickly, each touch on the phone's screen carrying the urgency and anxiety I felt. The urgency to know how my despicable sister is doing in that castle. She dared to enter the tournament to become Luna of the pack, and I cannot let her believe she can have a happy ending. The office was screaming luxury, with golden details and dark wood furniture exuding an austere elegance. The light silk curtains, in a deep wine shade, were slightly open, allowing the sof
~ ANNA ~Flora's words danced in my mind, bringing unexpected comfort. The sunlight streaming through the window highlighted the details of the furniture, the soft tones of the curtains, and the subtle shine of the polished wooden floor. Flora squeezed my hands firmly. Her words continued to resonate, creating an echo of possibilities. With a deep sigh, I wiped away the tears and gave my friend a grateful smile."Yes, I think you are right, Flora. I still need to learn how to embrace these aspects, and I hope he can forgive me," I said, a little hope in my voice."You are a gentle, kind, and amazing woman, Miss Anna. I am sure that if you are sincere in your apologies, he will forgive you," Flora responded tenderly. "Now, we need to get you dressed. It will be breakfast, and you can go to the beach and enjoy yourself a bit!" Flora's enthusiasm changed the atmosphere, making me grateful. The room, previously immersed in shadows of concern, now seemed illuminated by a new light. I
~ ANNA ~ "Miss Anna, what happened? It's been days, and you've been so downcast and silent. Did any of the participants hurt you?" Flora suddenly asked, handing me a shirt and a beach skirt. Her voice carried genuine concern, and her eyes shone with affection for me. I blinked at her in surprise, trying to soften my expression into a weak, gentle smile. "No, nothing happened, Flora. I've just been lost in thought a bit, maybe..." I let the sentence fade on my lips, lowering my eyes to the outfit chosen for today. The soft morning sunlight streams through the window, illuminating the room with a golden glow and filling the space with a sense of warmth and tranquility, something I wish I could feel inside as well. The day is beautiful, and all the participants have been invited for a day at the beach after breakfast. Flora chose a turquoise blue shirt with buttons. The fabric was light and felt fresh, perfect for a summer day. Under the shirt, I wore a white bikini with shells pri
~ RALPH ~With my body still agitated, I couldn't stand still. I forced myself to walk around my ample room, trying to release all the pent-up energy. The rich tapestries hanging on the walls seemed to tighten the edges of space, as if the room itself was trying to contain me."Yes, I paid very close attention to every stupid word that girl said to me! She's completely and utterly focused on becoming the queen! She couldn't care less about me; her only goal is to have power and status!" I replied begrudgingly, huffing with anger. I wanted to throw something against the wall and scream. I grabbed a wooden chair and threw it against the wall with all my might, a scream escaping with it, and I felt my entire body tremble. The impact reverberated through the room, and the wood shattered, spreading fragments across the floor."For the mercy of the Moon Goddess, Ralph! Control yourself, why have a fit of rage?" Fang said impatiently. "You clearly didn't pay attention to what she said at
~ RALPH ~The kiss was timid, gentle, and slow. The moment my lips touched Anna’s, I sensed her hesitation, perhaps fear. Yet, it was delicious, it was incredible, the taste that she possessed. The way she allowed my tongue into her mouth, how our tongues moved frantically, and her soft, delicate hands touching my face sent a surge down my entire body. It heightened all my senses, along with my instinct to possess her, to want so much more of her. The mix of euphoria and excitement surged through every muscle of my body; I wanted to taste every part of her. The room, filled with decorations and furniture, seemed to shrink. The dawn light seeped through the closed window with a timid glow, trying to make its way through the still-cloudy sky that was beginning to clear, making room once again for the bright sun and warmth. Anna’s double bed, adorned with soft pillows, was the best invitation I could receive to experience everything with her. The scent of fresh flowers decorating
