Chapter Forty Nine - Burning

When I woke up, I realized that there were also people who decided to rest and use their phones inside the camp.

They were reviewing what they took pictures a while ago when I decided that my bag was on the bus. All of my hygiene kits are there!

I decided to look for a tour guide and they said it would be a long trip from here, but I convinced them that I am a fast runner.

“Please, can you give me the key? I promise I will lock it firmly!” I firmly said while clenching my fists.

“I am truly sorry miss, all the bus drivers are away for early dinner too.” The tour guide looked at me with pity.

“I can go accompany her.” We both flinched when someone spoke to the side. I was surprised to see Eli there.

“Oh, Mr. Stephenson! Sure, if you can accompany her, that would be great!” The tour guide gave him a key, “Good for you, Miss!”

He then left us there before I decided to cross my arms against my chest, “We can’t go down there together, people might look for you.”
